Wow, apparently the show last night at Nokia was NOT GOOD. Bobby apparently was "out of it" and appeared confused.

Strange.

I was not there and only saw a video on youtube where he change guitars like 4 times at the beginning of Stella Blue. Lots of comments on facebook about the show.

I have 2 concerns here -

1) I hope Bobby is OK !!!

2) Can I get $300.00 or MORE per tic for the Red Rocks run , cause I'll sell them sons a bitches right away ... jus kiddin' ... kind of ...

That would be pretty upsetting, to pay that much for a less than stellar showing.

Just took a look at the Philzone. Sounds like Bobby was a complete mess. Hope it's not something like a stroke. The comments about him being completely disoriented does not sound good.

Yes, I took a peak over at the philzone as well and the overall review was that Bobby was not in the right state to be playing music, Phil looked worried because of this, and that JK pretty much saved the constant train-wreck that was happening.

Someone commented on deadheadland (facebook) that there was $500.00 ticket purchases for last nights show ... again , it was just a comment by someone and who knows if that's really true ... but I think the ticket sale procedure combined with demand for these 2 shows might have created a scalpers paradise ...

I really hope so David...I've scanned a few of the videos and he is completely out of it on most of them...barely playing and often playing the wrong chords...

I also hope Bob plays a great show after this debacle, but this spectacle at the Nokia just seems like something beyond the standard bad night. I have to say that the best scenerio in my view was a bad decision with partaking in some substance (or perhaps even getting dosed by someone without his knowledge). The really bad scenerio is something that needs some medical attention like a mini stroke.. Not trying to be alarmist here, but in the 37 years since I first saw Bobby play live, I've seen my share of flubbed songs. However, I've never seen anything like the videos of the previous evening.

I seriously doubt it's a "medical" condition...His proclivity toward pills and alcohol is not a big secret...but I think he as been clean for a while now...He looked like someone who imbibed perhaps in too much booze and then maybe thought shrooms would act as some sort of pick me up...total speculation on my part but I agree those videos are disconcerting for sure...Let's hope he got some rest and a tongue lashing from Phil and Jill and will be back in the form we have seen him over the last year...Furthur will come to a screeching halt if Weir starts boozing again...
