@  found : (27 May 2015 - 11:10 AM) MC, I'm with you. BBQ without meat is just an oxymoron.
@  Mango : (27 May 2015 - 10:43 AM) hmmm. I bet your protein needs are less than you think they are :) but you aren't asking for advice, so I wont give it. It is hard to get adequate aminos without meat...can be done but only with diligence
@  Mason... : (26 May 2015 - 08:09 PM) U 2 would no better than I. Not trying to have debate. I respect your views. BBQ without meat doesn't sound much like a bbq to me. I will eat elsewhere. Don't think I was invited anyway.
@  HelpSlip : (26 May 2015 - 07:52 PM) not hard at all my friend
@  Mason... : (26 May 2015 - 07:35 PM) No one mentioned protein but me. I need it. I won't be deficit in it. Some vegans don't get enough. Harder to get it in a meatless diet.
@  Mango : (26 May 2015 - 06:37 PM) who said anything about vegan protein?
@  Mason... : (26 May 2015 - 04:59 PM) Damn so I can't come to dinner. I need loads and loads of good old healthy protein to get down right. No I don't want a lesson on vegan protein. Hope to see ya there.

So I recently saw the Mickey Hart Band at Wanee and it was great! I'm really hoping that they will get a late night spot at the Jubilee. At Wanee, they performed midday and I couldn't help but think that the music would be far better suited for the night. The original songs actually use sounds from outer space and would be extra beautiful under the stars. Here is a link to the show for anyone that might want to give it a listen.

Also, here is a Facebook group for those who want Mickey Hart late night. Please join if you like what you hear and want to dance under the stars to late night Mickey Hart at the Jubilee.

I also liked the mickey show at Wanee. I liked it so much I purchased the show at the festival from the live show tent. I wanted to listen to it on the ride home. It was great fun. Some of it was a little trancey and too out there for me, but for the most part, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The cut the deck song had very similar lyrics to American Spring by JK and the Mix (lyrics by Hunter). I wander if Hunter (just confirmed for myself, also Hunter lyrics) also wrote those lyrics. "I built your house, I laid your floor, I carried your flag, and I faught your war....all I ever want, was some of your love."

I just checked and yes, the lyrics for "Cut the Deck" were written by Hunter. I also found some interesting information about the use of the space sounds. This website shows all of the tracks on the new Mickey Hart Band album and where in space the sounds are taken from.
