  2. To me one of the really cool things about DSO and maybe the reason they're not as mainstream a JRAD or dead co is nights like this. There were maybe 20% of the people who got what was going on and this was def not a "crowd pleaser" kind of show, but I think they played it cause they know many of us loyal fans are craving this early stuff, and also I bet it's fun as hell to play. This was the best of all the early music I've heard DSO do. Big boy Pete..... get the fuck outta here, that was some sweet shit!!! Oh I loved every minute of it.

  3. What a killer venue and the staff couldn't have been nicer. It almost seemed like they were happy we were there. As expected DSO takes a ho-hum 90s setlist and turns it to gold. The music 1st closer into HSF 2nd opener was sublime.

  4. Wish I’d have met u bill. That place had so many people I was hard to find anyone. But when tea said he means u and u were a righteous solid guy then u earned my respect. After his comments I felt bad we didn’t get to meet. Tea doesn’t heap praise on many people in that way so I’m upset we didn’t hear to meet. Chris, Dr Barry and I waited by the soundboard after 1st set but you were lucky to even find your friends again in that huge place much less someone u haven’t met. Until next time. I assuming u will do jubilee. Def meet there. That har to be my fav b2b shows. 1st 68 that’s was by far the biggest mind melter I’ve ever seen Dso do followed by a perfectly crafted rocker in the best open pit venue probably in the country. Props to to the new light guy. Met him a few times but forgot his name but the new light system he has is the most amazing setup I’ve seen. Instead of 1 light on 2-4 poles, the system is this rotating bar of 6 lights with 2 on a rig. The light show is off the charts now. Talk about a psychedelic lighting system. And that’s a whole new system since the 1st halt of fall tour. I think this really elevates the overall show. During drums we were like holy shit he’s good plus all those new robotic lights sent us on a journey. Bravo guys!!!

  5. Phenomenal venue. I assume biggest indoor dsos ever done. Biggest indoor venue I’ve ever seen that’s not an arena. Sound was like jubilee. U did not lack anything at that venue. It’s conpletely cashless at the box office and inside. It’s made for deadheads with credit. City crowd so emptied pretty well by 10:30. Most got down as much as city folks dressed up can. Man the anthem is a badass venue. Curious about attendance. I guessed 3300. 2 levels of balconies and lots of places to find space may mean more people but I can’t count crowds. Prob 1000-1500 upstairs. Super cool spot. Phenomenal show like always. These guys are like all star team vs AA ball of other acts. This is how dead should be played. ThNk you Dso again for a real good time. U guys add a lot to my life and I’ve met so many great friends around this music. Love it. Love u all. Flight taking off. Later

  7. Dso played 6/14/91 beautifully... Stella Row jimmy hsf so good... Lisa on kazoo very special tonight... The Venue... Best sound ever and I think maybe best indoor venue I've ever seen dso play... Largest crowd indoors for dso show. 3000+ I think and still plenty of room to dance. Super cool staff... Security saw me sweating after hsf and asked me if I'd like a bottle of cold water. Thumbs up to dso, staff and venue👍

  8. We got B2B lovelights this weekend. Pig then bobby style and both were amazing. You guys just smoked us this weekend. So glad I came. Those were some special shows. Has to be the weekend of the year for seeing Dso shows. I mean was that not the best b2b shows maybe they’ve ever done. 68 then a monster in the best indoor music venue in the country. That place was the music equivalent of a new billion dollar football stadium. If you got closer than 40-50ft from the stage your eardrums could hardly take it. It fucking boomed!!

  9. Oh 1 last funny thing. Rob B gets on the mic and says what about this great venue. He said Jeff said they should call it the 12:30 club lol. That place in essence was a basketball arena with all the lower level seats removed for bigger floor space. You could prob put 2-3 basketball courts onto their bottom level.

  11. I spent 45 min 630am Sunday moring in the cold drizzling rain talking to a homeless crackhead in dc that tried to bum money from me twice the night before. I asked why he was homeless and he was honest with me... I tried to give him reason to live life to its fullest. I think he heard what I was saying... At least I know he had hope for the day and he will remember our conversation.... I may not caution all......

  12. Isn’t the word Fuck an amazing word? It can be a noun, a verb, and an adjective. It can mean excitement, anger, disappointment, frustration, joy and love as in “ I fucking love you, man”. Fuck it Fuck off Fuck you Fuck me Fuck this shit Fuck yeah!!! Have a fucking good Monday day!

  14. I continue to amaze at the skill of our band to create the backdrop to life we all love. A night after delivering a raw mindbending 68, they return the following night as a fully mature 91, complete with Vinny-ish ivories from RobB. The Anthem emerges as a top flight venue, three levels of dancers paradise with bright sound at any location. I had so much space on the floor, security asked me several times to calm down. Let me be the first to motion for retiring 9:30. A personal highlight to meet Dr. Barry and Tea at the halftime praise gathering. Great to have a couple more friendly faces in the crowd. BTW, TJ, Music first set standouts. H>S>F>Esti>STAR worth the price of admission Praise DSO

  16. Rob B was on fire last night. Pig was done justice, but in order to pull off what thry did last night, everyone had to be on fire, and they were. It was slammed pack full of sound and vibrations. Got to share it with some of our DSO family. Pillars who i go to when i am feeling weird and need a reality check. Several times i needed it last night, as the dance from the music, and the vibe of the crowd, i found myself lost. It got super psychedelic last night. The alligator caution stuff was mind blowing. The vocals on doing that rag was super duper with a cherry on top. It was amazing stuff. The drums never stopped, they continued and poured out beats all night. Fast and rythmic. Even when the strings made no sense the drums kept your body moving swift and in a steady frenzy. The beats and bass through out cryptical---other one crypt was mind blowing at the least. It was so tight....so fucking tight. All of it was just high powered in your face jams with a complete command of the material. Un flipping believable. Absolutley some very good early dead. A BIG BIG THANKS TO DSO!!!
