  2. Randy, a whole crew enjoyed the show by way of your tickets. I had 4 miracles to give since my brother is on the injured list too. Before the show I was in the nearby bar which was packed with deadheads. There was a little note hanging from the edge of the bar saying I had miracles available. Then I turned from talking with Charles and Themia to find a nice lady next to me. After a bit she decided to go the show. She declared it to be a date with me but I declared no commitments. As time progressed we headed through the light drizzle of rain to the Palace. We quickly rounded up a few that had one finger in the air. I led the group to the door thinking " This is some encourage I ve got here, a beautiful lady, a young hippy couple, one in the oven, another middle aged hippy, all led in by the oldest man at the show" We checked out downstairs seat locations but I let them all know I was headed upstairs where my other good friends would be dancing. While wondering around I discovered your seats were on the very front row of the balcony. I told the usher there was no way I d stay on that cliff's edge. My long time friends started arriving ...good to see my family again. We filled the open space with a row of twenty dancers the whole show. After a bit your guests found their way from below and joined our dance party. At set break the couple said that at the Jubilee I had given them fresh aloe for the badly sun burned girl. Then I remembered them and was pleased the lady had recovered. Hmm? Jubilee was eight months ago. I think they will name the baby "Sunshine". Peace And Love, Doc

  4. As for the feedback, the instrument I was playing is a vintage Yamaha synth that Brent used in that era. It has a setting that allows me to create a feedback effect much like a guitar can. Brent used it often and can be heard on many shows between 83 and 87 sorry if it threw y’all;-) RB

  6. I did NYE with Hyryder @ the mousetrap in Indy. Good stuff. All plans fell through but I had to find some live music to go see. More and more shows are going 21+ NYE and I usually take the boys. Sam is in Israel over the new year and I took luke to Indy and he streamed the Billy Strings show at the hotel while I went to the mousetrap. 😆😂 H/S/F easy wind World to give Mobile Mamu Cassidy After Midnight round and round set 2 Viola Miracle Wang Dang Sailor/Saint fantasy blow away music set3 Terrapin (extra parts but don’t think it was whole suite) Scarlet H2H lovelight not fade away Drummy Jam Dew E. Weight Cool little bar show. Mousetrap definitely caters to our kind.

  7. JGB has always been a light hearted playful repertoire of music. I feel no cares in the world and it all looks like love in this Jerry sphere. For me the GD music takes on the light and the dark, like seers. It feels like a Jedi fighting at times, wroughting the good into existence. Can you tell I’ve been watching the Madalorian lol i can’t wait to get on the bus. What the Untold destination looks like? I know it will arrive wrapped in love - and it will be a great dance to get there

  11. Yea, I think you’re right. Musta been ‘78 cuz I remember it as show opener, after some deliberation. My cassette was labeled with no more than ‘007’ because it was as slick as James Bond.

  12. I loved the Jerry Garcia band first set. I ve been enjoying that music more than straight Grateful Dead. My older brother, Cary, who has gotten on the bus in the last few years, preferred the second set of GD songs which he was familiar with. Peace and Love Doc
