I hope Dickey and Jerry already have a cosmic jam session planned. Godspeed Ramblin Man3 points

Um, wow. Did all four. Thought I’d invite any questions about Sphere, particularly for those going to Dead & Company. Happy to share anything I can. It’s the best-sounding venue I’ve ever experienced. Then of course the immersive environment and visuals added to that: unbelievable. The band was up to the task, they were stellar shows. DD2 points

Streaming Phish pholks came by the Burl in Lexington. Talked to one cat that was a Goose fan before the drummer died and is disappointed with the return with new members citing they're sounding like Phish now. He's a Phish tour head and that's what he liked about the original Goose, being different. I never added any Goose shows when being prompted by Hyryder fans at mousetrap shows a couple of years back. My concert reportore didn't have room for Goose, but I did like talking when their fans, they just weren't getting a new recruit. I believe this Friday in Lexington will most likely be my last Billy Strings having started with with him back at the JHMF in 2014. I got him to sign my acoustic guitar the third day of the three night NYE run up in Pontiac Michigan because him and his band were staying at the same Marriott hotel that he had set up for fans at a cheap rate with shuttle runs back and forth to all 3 shows. The front of the guitar has a black catfish on it and his William Apostle signature came down nicely off of the catfish's whiskers. He's was psyched about that. Met Duck and sons for the first time there in 12/31/18 and ran into him again at Billy's 2022 NYE show 🎶🔥⚡2 points

It breaks my heart to say this but my traveling days are over, probably for good. Hearing about Cornmeal and Allie sharing the stage again does warm the pieces, though. They were the other band I traveled to see way back when. ❤️❤️1 point

Was just in Vegas and went to The Sphere for the movie they screen, which was made for the venue. I was blown away by all you describe in the section I quoted. Suffice it to say I walked out of there thinking I should just sell my stereo because after experiencing that, what's the point? 😳 😆1 point

This is for you Chuck Whelp! Here it is... In anticipation of Cornmeal's upcoming 25th Anniversary, the band will reunite on stage with our former and long time band member, the venerable Allie Kral, for the first time in over 12 years, exclusively at Shoe Fest 2024! This had been a long time in the making and we think the time is right and the band couldn't be more honored to have her back for this very special show. Grab your tickets today https://shoe-fest.com/all-tickets 💚🌽1 point

BCE 420 Lexington: #1 Shakedown Street, Used to Love Her, The Race is On, Run for the Roses, LR Rooster, BE Women, Wang Dang Doodle, TLEO, Blow Away>Don't Ease. #2: Scarlet>Fire (with Dino English sitting in for one of the drummers), Easy Wind, Waiting for A Miracle, TWLWMYD, Truckin, Black Peter, I Need a Miracle, OMSN. Encore: Sugar Magnolia (no SSDD) The Shakedown opener was reminiscent of the Long Beach '81 with the nice long ending accentuating the keyboard with the guitar interplay. Good seeing DSO friend at the end of the show 〽️1 point

I thought the design was far from ideal. Massive complex but the dance floor was too small when we saw Phil and friends there. Nashville is a good spot to see him with the plethora of fantastic musicians there. We could find no space and it wasn’t sold out. We did bowl a game before the show which was fun and got to watch a minor league game from the smoking deck. What sucks was the game made all parking expensive and a 5 block walk. It had one of the smaller dance areas I’ve seen. Is it even 40x30’ on the floor?1 point

I’m not going to the Nashville show, but I did see Dinosaur Jr and Sierra Ferrell at the Nashville Brooklyn bowl. I enjoyed the venue. Lots of floor space…1 point

Set 2: Sand (20), Tweezer (26) -> My Friend, My Friend*(9) > Mike's Song (9) > Lifeboy (10), Weekapaug Groove (7) > Blaze On (10) > Fluffhead (15) Encore: Farmhouse (8), Run Like an Antelope (10) Notes: *Unfinished Visuals were great but the U2 video production was clearly better. Not a knock from me - Phish just didn’t go nuts with theirs. Sound and performance were both excellent .1 point
