  12. Gotta get ready to show them some back-boxed-knittes! I hope she's fit enough for a ~23 minute performance
  13. https://greatsouthbaymusicfestival.com/ July 18 - July 21 DSO headlines 7/20
  14. A guy that used to be on here who hated the nitrous mafia (with the heat of a 1000 suns) told a story of busting a valve and running. He lived to tell about it but you can't outrun hot lead in 2024.
  15. Holy Guacamole 🥑 Batman! Looks like they threw the kitchen sink at ya'll - and then the whole kitchen, just for good measure 😮 Reads like a dream to me - I'll bet it was a lucid dream for all that got to plug into THAT vibe. One of the best vibes there is musically which I've nicknamed: Endorphin Firehose. Who wants a sip? What I'm most happy about, is BillK522 finally getting the royal treatment with this offering. The veritable 1969 white whale was finally realized - and then that monster just swallowed Captain Bill, whole All I know is that the opening refrain of Dark Star must have made everyone giddy with anticipation 🤪 With a Dark Star opener, you know you're embarking on a 3-hr journey. I might have just jumped out of my skin. Thanks to DSO + Crew for deciding to make this one happen for some very deserving friends- infinite magic indeed ❤
  16. Battle of the Blues goes to the Heels! Helps when have only 5 turnovers and play lights out defense. Duck Fook
  17. Whoa, Greg! Stressball City. I’ve had similar pinball events (some me, some venue) and it’s the worst when wanna lock-in in the music. Relative to Dead and Company, summer 2023 was 100% better than previous tours. While no real tour de force shows (moments for sure), it was light years better than the years leading up
  18. Ted Silverman (TedToob) is an old fraternity / sorority (co-ed) brother of mine. Dead to the core! He gets out to some shows!
  19. Mmmmm Visions ❤️ 2008? - not there
  20. Just added July dates: 4-5-6 11-12-13
  21. It's clearly a growing sport
  22. Never said they were better or even rivaled DSO 🤭 Not sure why what other bands I like matters to you so much - it’s kinda weird TBH. DSO is the best purveyor of this music - no objections from me. Great show tonight! They were feelin it - sounded great on Nugs
  23. Winterland, Feb 1974. Don’t know the exact date but heard the show before. Crystal clear on Nugs stream. That was one tough ticket…
  24. It's pseudo-official now. Specific dates still to be released but it will begin in May. https://packaged-media.redd.it/cynirhmjjsfc1/pb/m2-res_1222p.mp4?m=DASHPlaylist.mpd&v=1&e=1706731200&s=bceeae4e210a8b064b989a5e52d61103f995ee13#t=0 NY Post - Dead & Co. will come back to life this spring with a 14-show residency at James Dolan’s Las Vegas Sphere, The Post has learned. The $2.3 billion Sphere — which the owner of the Knicks and Rangers spun off from Madison Square Garden last April — has been looking to book a long-running act to follow U2 after their 40-show run ends in March. Dead & Co., which includes former Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir and guitarist John Mayer, will begin their residency in May, according to a source close to the situation. The deal is expected to be announced this week, the source added. Sphere spokespeople declined to comment. A rep for Dead & Co. didn’t immediately comment. That venue looks cool but it doesn't seem remotely conducive to a grateful dead musical experience. I know, I know - the band isn't very conducive either. Ha-Ha-Ha. They're not my cup of tea and I would not make the sacrifice to get to Vegas, but I still love Bobby and am interested to see how this all goes. I'm curious if anyone is gonna give it a spin......
  25. BillK > Glad you out there and with some of the best company there is ❤️ Song choices look cool - along with a rocket ship to the moon to close it out! Jeezus. Enjoy the run - pretty sweet kickoff ⚡️
