  1. Love seeing all this unplanned events rising up out of the ashes…!
  2. Go straight to Eventbrite and make your way to request a refund…took a few mins but got processed and already refunded. Thankful for that.
  3. Holy shit that is a klusterfuck with tremendous ripple effects in many many directions…feel so bad for all the organizers and bands contracted and everyone,,,,and as a ticket holder for the event I say DSO get on the horn and try and rustle up some sort of 3 night run in Ventura last minute and make some serious lemonade out of the situation….would be some crazy last minute coagulation if it could happen…but maybe not impossible!! can’t believe how last minute this cancellation is…freaking crazy!! Also can’t believe there aren’t some deep pocketed deadheads down in SoCal they could’ve stepped in and provided a miracle for all involved and kept the thing afloat for everyone…but it would probably take some serious $$$. That’s the kind of thing I dream about being able to do if I was a multi-millionaire…
  4. Quite the double header shows that Hawaii was treated to 😎😎😎
  5. I think if they were doing Red Rocks it woulda been announced before the other 4 and try and sell lots of tix to that first…and I don’t think they would play 4 and then do a red rocks show… I like the idea too but I just don’t see it happening this summer if it ain’t announced yet…sorry to be a downer but those 4 in Colorado gonna be super sweet with 3 outdoor amphitheater shows on the mix 😎
  6. They say they do 76-95 which I guess if you get technical, JGB specifically kicked off late 75 after the Legion of Mary arrangement and other side projects prior to that… I guess I saw Jerry’s Middle Finger 2 hrs ago at Skull and Roses but now I’d like to compare these two bands to hone in on best opportunity for solid JGB available. Of course JGB with Melvin and JK does the trick…
  7. Caught Garcia Project twice last week…had a blast steeped in some gorgeous jgb…they did a 76 and then an 83,,both super well done…definitely ready for more of these guys. Had seen them once but felt like they’re going deeper now…great vibes. if you’re craving some squeaky clean jgb, go check them out when they come around 😉
  8. Glad you guys got old school ripped to shreds!! Ahhhhhhh
  9. Your comment helped motivate tix purchase along with other motivators 😉
  10. Man I had somehow come to the conclusion that they weren’t really going to play the Mishawaka again…guess I thought they had outgrown that place and I’d missed the opportunity…that venue has been on my bucket list for small intimate outdoor spaces for quite a while…it wasn’t 72 hrs before the Colorado shows were announced that we were talking about the Mish and wanting to go there at some point and find a band we liked playing there etc etc… Then the shows get announced (with like 48 hrs before tix are on sale 🤪) so who knows what it means but got tix for the Mish and Boulder theater since those will sell out and fill in Vail and Denver later… Still curious if there might be some in fill on the sched for some mid week outdoor shows in Oregon between Colorado and Greek but if so surely that would get announced sooner than later. im probably not the only one around here who noticed the healthy ticket sales for Greek…hoping for the Band’s sake that that fully sells out and stoked for that bucket list trip too… And if they end up announcing Jackson hole for this summer again (although seems that woulda landed weekend after Greek when they’ll be back in NY)) then there would be some tough decisions to make to prioritize what’s possible…..
  11. I like the idea of Loser…Besides other connotations l like the total irony with ‘last fair deal in the country’ after paying over $500 for a ticket 🤣
  12. Respect to both you guys for taking on the hardest and most important job there is…being a parent! Whether you make it to shies or not I don’t know what could be more important than helping babies and kids grow!
  13. Damn good looking set list…glad Tea got some old school rockin along with all you guys!
  14. Yes Tea…I totally get you…I love the moments in life when things we’ve never seen will seem familiar… Peculiar glimpses into something difficult to put words on…happens a lot within the Grateful Dead experience, thank goodness 😉
  15. Cool hobby Greg…that’s a helluva collection you’ve found so far! May your collection continue to grow. 😀So many leftovers out there waiting to be discovered and appreciated…
  16. Thank you Ron…you help us stay connected to the music and each other!!
  17. Incredible tour end… I wish there were words to describe… Such a special night The vibe heading into Franklins was already so high and then when Warren and Danny stepped on stage it just got crazy and rest of show was just nuts Ive seen some kickass Low Sparks but this was other level with those dudes in attendance… Gotta be the most haunting and intense Dew I’ve ever experienced… I was so curious how they play Take a Letter Maria and they’ve already taken great ownership of that tune and fully rocked it out…they had us so in their hands by the end of second set that it was a perfect time to lay it on us…very fun way to end a show… Our cups overfloweth out in PNW thanks to Jehovah’s favorite choir making it up this way and dishing out the goods…so grateful. And now our favorite Band beyond Description gets to take the momentum of all these sell outs and bust a move at the Greek Theater…hell yes
