I feel safest and happiest on the DSO site and it feels like home. I don't want to be forced to talk/read about Furthur elsewhere (or not at all). I believe in unlimited abundance, and that there is room for all of us/them here. One band's existence doesn't take away from the other's, rather these are synergistic parts of a larger whole. (one i would not support) Boy..I don't really agree that it is that cut and dry...to me it's a tough call. Band members have mentioned that there is no chance of John ever returning to DSO..... For the sake of expediency it's nice for me because I follow both vehicles (furthur and DSO).. But as a practical matter, not sure if I was on the DSO team I would want half of hits that come to their Web site coming from those interested in furthur Updates..I'm happy that it' here but FURTHUR should definately get their own thing going..simialr to DSO, Ratdog, etc..Both Bob and Phil historically have been awful with respect to creating "official forums".. To me, while I like it, it would be a reasonable thing to remove it. I strongly disagree that it would be childis, bullshit and political. That's ridiculous.. I love how John can bring me back to old, familiar feelings of the Grateful Dead, in this case, Brent, without eliciting nostalgia or sorry, just JOY! Having been at all the rehearsal shows, No More Do I and Peaceful Valley were more polished and developed. Very well played and moving. It was an honor to witness the birth of these and watch/hear them grow, (as it is with this band)! I love you Robin! Not only do they keep you hitting that damn refresh button for days on end, but on the rare occasion you get your hopes up and think you can buy a ticket, they tell you that the requested ticket number (one is the only choice) is not available. Then you spend the next five minutes in vane typing in those two security numbers. I'm kind of glad today is the end of the run! LOL!!!! Got to see three shows, so I can't complain. However, would have really liked to see the band in the Masonic to compare the experence. Maybe next time--if there is a next time. Update: They just did it again at about 12:30. But just trying to present or more reasoned analysis not of the knee jerk variety. Your recent post on Taper Rons clean up page is a major tell. Stating "The Only Reason any of us are Here is because of John" Frankly I think that's a bit insulting to the rest of the band. And no one is a bigger fan of John than myself.
