topher44 Posted May 8, 2010 Report Share Posted May 8, 2010 I just wanted everyone to be aware that the 11/21/09 show from Lowell Memorial Auditorium is now available for download on Live Downloads / Nugs.. This performance solidified for me how much Jeff Mattson compliments team DSO, and I remember the goosebumps being pervasive that night. I HIGHLY recommend this show to anyone who loves the 1972 era and sound of the Grateful Dead, and even those who may not be familiar with this amazing period in the bands' history. From The first notes of "Cold Rain", the transcendent "Playin'", the heart-tugging "Dew", the serendipitous closing "We Bid You Goodnight", and every moment in between, I was in musical Heaven. The vibes all around the auditorium were great that night, and I left feeling much more than satisfied... it was phenomenal !!! For all who were there, you know what I mean. For any who missed this night, I offer my condolences. Get this recording, add it to your iTunes, iPod, or burn it to CD.... you will NOT be dissapointed. Peace.
