Wow- fairly harsh (hope Hunter doesn't read this forum) Why don't ya give it a listen @ http://archive.org/details/RobertHunter2013-09-28.akg391.digigal.flac16  I think videos can be dangerous tools, ya kinda have to be there in the hall to feel the magic.

Any word on how he's playing/sounding?

all u have to do is watch that video (Scarlet) - or should i say sing-a-long, and you'll be glad you passed. certainly not more than one show if that

He can stop the world when allowed. This is the source people, get in while you can, two weeks of life with RH is a rare occasion

That Box was a nice warm-up > got a little teary :( .  Some of these songs have a Johnny Cash sorta tone/vibe/cadence to them.  Powerful yet with a purposeful meekness at times > almost haunting..

Wish he was headed down below the Mason-Dixon....

I'm doing D.C. through Port Chester. Honestly have never listened to Hunter's solo stuff. I have only heard recordings when he'd come on during a JGB show and do "Tiger Rose" and "Promontory Rider." I might be doing these shows more so for the history than the music, hard to say. I'll make my mind up after I hear him play.

hey Cosmic - what did you think?

"This short tour was undertaken to discover if I had the wherewihtall to perform after recovering from a serious illness. Half-way through I can report I’m hanging in there and actually getting stronger. The loving reception of my audience no doubt accounts for this. My goal is to finish the tour and wish it were longer!"  RH
