Ah I see now. Song is mis-titled in almost all set lists. Eighteen Children is actually Ride On Josephine.

E. McDaniel songwriter

Also was Donna's first show

Actually, The song labeled as "Eighteen Children" is "Say Boss Man" written by Bo Diddley.

Donna's first show was at Winterland 12/31/72.

Stand corrected....Say Boss Man correct title of the song

12/31/71 Donna "sits in" on One More Sat Night

3/25/72 Donna "joins" the band on vocals

I call that a push lol

You know it's traveling again....

I miss those rides on amtrack.  Hopefully find a train or two  at jubilee.

Another year.  Another memorial day.  Through the blur of life, I find myself measuring times past, measured by which year of jubilee!!  Father time needs markers, and what a great event to measure the days, the feelings, the chaos of life pinned by the year of a three day period.  Take me back to the year before last.  I can groundhog day the year before last.  That would be a good day to be stuck in!!

     SIX

When I awoke between the hours of six and seven
Guards were standing 'round me in numbers odd and even
I flew to my pistols, but alas I was mistaken
I fired off my pistols and a prisoner was taken

Musha ringum duram da
Whack fol de daddy-o
Whack fol de daddy-o
There's whiskey in the jar

They put me in jail without a judge or jury
For robbing Colonel Pepper in the morning so early
They didn't take my fist so I knocked down the sentry
And I bid a long farewell to that cold penitentiary

Musha ringum duram da
Whack fol de daddy-o
Whack fol de daddy-o
There's whiskey in the jar

Some take delight in fishing and bowling
Others take delight in carriage a-rollin'
I take delight in the juice of the barley
Courting pretty women in the morning so early
