Good one Tea...

Don't think I've ever played this show before - till this morning!  The Dancin is gold as is the NFA (despite not being an NFA fan)!  The dancin is super-funky and clocks-in at a cool 25mins.  This includes about an 8-min back and forth between Jerry and Billy which is pretty neat!

Jerry is feelin 'IT' during NFA

Happy Weekend Dorkstars!

Wow, Tea,  that 1-12-79 is an interesting listen.  I was unfamiliar as well with this show.  For a '79 show without a soundboard source, this Jim Wise FOB with Sony mics holds its own nicely.

And yes, the evening is all about the Dancin' and the NFA, both of which are stunning. Unfortunately during the final GDTRFB jam Bobby is way too loud in the mix, and he kills what would perhaps have been a huge Jerry scrub.   The set list here could make one look the other way but that would be a mistake.

On Sirius, tigdh is always a different day than today. Not sure what’s up with that. Maybe tea needs a radio gig. Pretty sure it would pay at least 15k a year, ed and I’m sure u could do a better job.

So yesterday Sirius played the second half of the second set of 1/18/70..on my way into work I caught that lovelight..that’s exactly what I was thinking about it. Rowdy, Monster, down and dirty, beautiful..pig killed it. Great way to start the day.

God Bless The good ‘ole Grateful Dead!  This show is tight and compact save for that Alligator - this one is an all-timer ❤️

1968-01-22 feedback is a fun trifle, curiosity. The Spanish Jam feels like their White Rabbit.

FASTChina Cat  with distinct space for an elemental guitar melody and all out jamming in the spaces between verses comes together and eventually wheels into a nice Eleven

https://archive.org/details/gd90-03-21.sbd.heath.5307.sbeok.shnf

Spring Tour 1990, Canada style.

The 2nd Loose Lucy after the dust-off, followed by a first set VOTC with Weir seeking feedback from his monitor deep in the space by taking a knee, into a first set SOTM>Promised Land.

Not to mention the 1/2 Step for Without a Net, for those who like that tune.  😜

The only thing I’ll say about this underrated second set (thanks primarily to the following night's offering) is that anytime they decided to drop into Cumby in set 2, I wound up happy, not to mention sweaty.

Get headphones and enjoy!
