if the Tamgled was indicative of anything - it was that JK can take you places. There was a deluge of notes distilled by the end to a singular feeling. It was a rocket. Water In the Desert was just lovely. “it’s your thing” was super funky fun. BUT Alfreda had already won my heart when she unleashed “Piece of My ❤️ “- Great Gawd it was a dream!!!  That woman has some pipes and brought the house down.

I listened to a live feed of this show...definitely a very good night... It was higher energy than I expected.   I'm really sorry I missed Oteil and Friends (such as John K) when they were in Athens a few nights earlier.
