I don’t think Partial tix are available until at least late Saturday since many still arrive on Saturday but I’m 100% sure they offer Sunday only tickets.  I remember the bands Facebook page telling people to come on out to camp and enjoy a full day of music on Sunday.  From a marketing aspect I don’t think they want to advertise partial days as some would decide to just do a day instead of buying a full weekend ticket.

Doc - If im able I want to get on the road by 12pm latest. .. gets me to the gate at 2:30pm

Matt, I'll try to get up Sunday morning and check the situation in time to message you well before noon Sunday. MC can then sleep in like normal.  PM me your phone number to make Sunday's contact easier. I'll send you mine in a moment.  Twist Chuck's arm and pick him up as he suggested.

Peace and Love,

Doc

Thanks Doc .... but just to make it clear I can't drive long story but I can't drive that Sunday

Chuck will fly into Cleveland airport I have a way to get Chuck to my house

But then Chuck and I face the Dilemma of no ride to Columbus

I don't follow all of that but if you mean you need a ride Monday morning back to Columbus I can handle that...may be crowed in my Prius but somehow

The difficulty here is that all who would eagerly participate in getting your asses down to Buckeye Lake from Lorrain will have a tough time getting vehicle out of fest to do so. I would volunteer vehicle and some drive time to see spectacle of your appearance.

Vip tix locked in. I was wanting to go under the radar in GA wearing a disguise like a dreadlock wig but someone pointed out there aren’t many skinny tall guys that dance like they have a neurological disease so I’d be quickly swarmed by fans, but a cautious swarm to not catch the neurological disease. Plus carrying shit sucks. Last year when it started raining post show we popped in the car and jammed music. That defeated part of the point of being outdoors but it was additional dead music. Life is a balance. We have to sacrifice the purity of camping for music anyway at a fest. And we’ve been promised nice shelter in vip which means we can mooch off the work of others. That’s really what jubilee is about anyway. It’s hanging with friends who are camping pros so we can keep our amateur status and still enjoy the good life. Cheers.

I'm slightly jealous, Rude, but I'm still going undercover in GA. My first time since 1st Jubilee. I am already loathing the carrying of the gear.

U do need to go undercover with the rock star better half ;) No more protective camping. You are out in the open now lol. If I needed to do jubilee solo, I’d have a fantastic time. Actually that sounds like it would be sort of cool being solo at a fest. I may have to do that sometime.

I went to my fourth Dead show by myself and have been doing it that way ever since except for one or two occasions. Yea, I 've gone to a lot of shows with my friends who got on the bus in '72 but I last about five minutes. I tell them I'll be right back and end up meeting them at the car after the show.

I have an amazing wife, partner, and friend. We've been solid pals for 16 years. We've got three amazing kids. She's also really good to me and occasionally sends me off for a few days so I can recharge my batteries. That's one more reason why she's amazing- she knows how important it is for people to take time off now and then. She's the best.

Been a long time since I have posted on this forum. Couldn't believe I remembered my password... Last time I was at Legend Valley was when DSO played fall hookahville with 2 electrics and a late night acoustic set. Remember that?????

It's been a hell of ride since my first show on 02/02/02 at the Michigan Theater. From the Great American Music Hall to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom and so many venues in between... We will be flying in from Middle of Montana and look forward to spending a special weekend with all you strangers. Camping in VIP and look forward to meeting new friends and make life long memories. See you there.

So kinda off topic... I don't think I'm going crazy but has anyone heard a candyman where Jerry says "I'll PROBABLY blow you straight to hell"... I swear I heard it and don't remember where.

I remember hearing that, I know I had the tape, but alas I don’t remember which one either. Seems like a 1978 or 1980 show.

Awesome!! You will have a blast. It’s such an easy laid back fest. It’s the epitome of freedom. You will have a big grin on your face the whole week after. Glad you are making it!!!!

We are now down to only six days n' nights

It might be six o'clock and it might be eight
It don't matter that it's getting late
We're gonna make the band play one more song
Get in the groove if it takes all night long

Get in the groove and let the good times roll

We goona stay here till we sooth our soul

If it takes all night long

Con and let the good times roll

We goona stay here till we sooth our soul
If it takes all night long
