Elective Setlist Generator

What's more annoying that a rabid fan shouting song requests at the band (..."FREEBIRD!"). It's the rabid fan who posts elective setlist ideas to the band on a message board. Your welcome.

Anyway, here are elective setlist ideas. I've stolen most of them. Feel free to post your own.

Here's my first:

Set 2

I was lucky enough to be at that St.Louis show... can't remember if this was the show they left the "house lights on" during the first set or if that was 1995 show after the Deer Creek gate crashers. More I think about it 1995 was the lights on show...then after the 1995 show was the unfortunate "deck collapse" out at the campground.. I also remember something about a "death threat" to Jerry on the 94 or 95 shows at riverport.... I blame Axel Rose.. after the "riot" at this venue it was never the same!!!

I love this topic. Thinking of it more from a “my perfect setlist” angle, not necessarily DSO elective. This is would be a great one for me. Not too many dance breaks here.  Not too creative....but just the way I like it!

I don’t disagree with much of that list. I just can’t narrow it down to seventeen or nineteen tunes. Definitely broke down encore. I always made sure I did the last night in Philly, for broke down encore. Not sure if it was one hundred percent but I believe it was.

I’ve always loved Phil’s Childhoods End. Such a beautiful ballad and gives me a lot of memories.

You lost me at Queen Jane

I specifically thought of you when I saw that. If I didn’t lose you there figured easy answers would make you have to look away.

In that 1st set there is a 6 song block of ehhh. Nothing in there to redeem the rest. Last river def doesn’t redeem the set even though I like the song. The TJed is not what you need to redeem it. I’d say that’s the worst 6 song block yo end a set ever hands down.

And victim>samba in 2nd and I fought the law encore.

78 Jerry would have rolled over in his grave

That would be a decent night 😉

I think slip Stella in before the Playin Reprise and full nourishment would be achieved.

I was at that show show and I will forever cherish the one and only live (by the GD) version that I’ve heard of “Attics Of My Life”.  Hearing Jerry singing attics (with the rest of the band) made it it all worth it.
