All I can say is WOW, also!

THANK YOU DSO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Show was great.... the boys in blue were not. Ended up having to bail out my friend (and DD) at 2 am. He was not drinking or doing anything else and yet was still arrested. Whe the PD pulled us over for ???... we still dont know, and asked where we were coming from, I told them we enjoyed a nice evening listening to the Orchestra. I dont think that found it as witty as I did. They stated something about all those people there are doing illegal stuff, what were we doing? My driver was sober and straight and I told them that I was drinking as much booze as I could. Again, I dont think they liked my answer. They arrested him for ??? still dont know. Thankfuly, I wasnt arrested. I had to sit on the side of the road and call my beautiful wife to come get us at 130am.

Was having a great time until then though.

See you next time....

We had a gal get Tazerd (Zapped) By a crew of state and local PD at our hotel. I'm told she wasn't complying. Queenie feel free to elaborate. The filler made me cry. Good to C-ya ChuckV.

Later indeedy...and we saw plenty of flashing blue lights as we headed out post-show. Quite the change from the vibe inside the Casino...

And the filler was a classic. One of the best...

Safe travels.

I wanted to put a gun to my head when they opened with Picasso Moon but I guess you can't always get what you want. Don't get me wrong the show was very well played but I wasn't too crazy about the choice of show. I really needed a Bertha or Good Lovin to wake me up in that second set. Thank god for the rippin filler!! Seen alot of DSO shows and this one isn't just didn't cut up the rug. (until the end that is ...)

I was there both nights. I was surprised and initially disappointed they went with the 80s for both. I really expected (and hoped for) some type of Lisa show on Saturday. But when I set aside my expectations, I really had a great time. I thought the show was excellent. In fact, I would say it was one of the top DSO 80s shows I've seen (the other that comes to mind is one at the Boston Orpheum several years ago).

Listening to the show after the fact, it's pretty good. Nice and "jammy" for a late era show.

I still say Friday was the shit, though.

Doesn't anyone have a line on this recording??

I've seen a lot of DSO shows, and this one may have been the best I've seen/heard.....

Picasso Moon.. nice song selection??? Uuuhhh OK. You must be kidding. I was at the original Dead show when they first played this pitiful tune. I thought it was a joke and never expected the boys to play it ever again. Unfortunately I was wrong. (thanks Bobby) Also caught the first Victim or the Crime and thought the same thing. Whatever floats your boat Captain. I did enjoy Built to Last. Higher Ground was much more delightful!

Built to Last was not bad. MUCH better than Picasso Moon.

Not that DSO played Picasso poorly, it just plain sucks.

Especially for an opener!
