Recommended Posts

Setlist is posted on the DSO site. Small Show. 1 Drummer(Rob) Had a Snow warning for the night. Grate show. Kevin was even dancing a bit on the stage.

Weather man was trying for a record snowfall for 24 Hrs, they may of made it. We drove to Madison yesterday in what they called a blizzard(not really that bad). There were not many people on the road as the weathermen had scared everyone off.

See you at the Barrymore tonite

Peace

Thanks! Looks like 10/18/72....how funny I looked it up on the setlist program to figure out the date and this is the first comment under the setlist:

"The Dark Star Orchestra performed this set in Indianapolis at the Vogue Theatre on 3/1/01. It freaking rocked! I would give it a 4.5 out of 5.0.

-Matt, mselig@hotmail.com "

I'm sure they rocked it even more this time around!

Hearing those guys go D Star>Dew is as good as it gets. They are the only ones who can touch the spaces they sometimes hit on that power duo. My favorite was a combo I heard at the fillmore or warfield that had a mind left body jam where the interplay between John and Rob was really gorgeous. I think John even teased a Tiger jam that night.

A China>Rider and a 18 min Playin and the D star>Dew? What more could you ask?

I bet this was the show of the tour as far as magic goes.

Speaking from someone who lives in St. Louis...

Ouch...that they did not save that one for us.........

Still Hoping the boys can roll a pair of 7's for us on Saturday night.......

No disrespect but speaking collectvely from our Posse here in the STL..we much prefer the Recreated shows........

Um ..no snow on the ground in St. Louis and forecast for a high of 48 with Sun and Wind on Saturday.....My guess is the first the band will see of grass uncovered by snow when that Arch is in sight....

Do you know that Iowa is actually pronounced I-Owa

"I didn't know it was possible not to know that." - Jerry Seinfeld

(from Season 8 - The Comeback)

KRAMER: Hey. Oh, Jerry, listen uh, you know, I saw the rest of that movie,

The Other Side Of Darkness? The coma lady wakes up at the end.

GEORGE: (frustrated) Ohh, I wanted to see that. (waves his arms in

frustration) Thanks. Thanks a lot.

George stalks away into the bathroom, and slams the door behind him.

KRAMER: I didn't know it was possible to come out of a coma.

JERRY: I didn't know it was possible not to know that.

The filler was Mr. Charlie and Midnight Hour. For me, '72 is where it's at. I saw my first show that year and love to go to the spaces we visited that night. Best Playin and Dark Star we've played since I've been around, imho!!!!!!! RB

Damn you Rob Barraco and Dark Star Orchestra !!!!!!!!! ...

oh sucks, just kidding... thanks for what you do... but you could have done the above in Chicago.. LOL
