Don’t have the raw numbers but safe to say that this is was the largest Jubilee attendance to date - even despite the wet weather . Congratulations to the band and crew!

Streaming the Jubilee this year with the cat curled up on my chest keeping my heart warm, and my son close beside me reminding me that love still carries on.
Something about last night’s 5/23 setlist hit me deep. Certain songs just seemed to find the exact places in my soul I’ve been trying to make peace with this past year. Sometimes this whole thing still feels unreal, like I’m stuck in some strange dream I can’t wake up from. Then the music starts, the North Star shines overhead, and for a little while it all makes sense again.
I miss my best friend terribly. Almost a year since I last heard his voice. Still, I swear I feel him around sometimes — in the sunshine, in the music, even in the little critiques I can still hear him making in my head during a set. Maybe I’ll never understand why things happened the way they did. Maybe that understanding isn’t mine to have.
But I’m grateful tonight. Grateful for this community, for the stream, for the songs that somehow keep speaking when words fail, and for the love that never really leaves us.

The vibe was immaculate. Def more dancing than I’ve seen before here. Very nice heartfelt tribute at the open to Brian Tenzin. Fireworks. So many fireworks. Also during Rider and St Stephen. Melvin was amazing as usual.

We are getting the goods this weekend. Ton of folks this year. Awesome vibes.

DSO’s delivery, reincarnation of this Stella, was enlightening for me. Whitney and I shared what we both recognized as a significant recognition of our soul’s meeting their fates on dance floor. The moment strengthened our love and journey towards eternity and terrapin as not two people but one expression of love togetherness. A reaffirmation of 2 people entering into sacred devotion to one another to make each others journey in life one’s journey. I will never forget this moment.

Man, witnessing Spring '77 in person? Regardless you win! And it's sandwiched between Playin' and the Playin' Reprise no less. My memory says 5-9 is the one, but specifically because of the insane volume of beautiful notes Jerry delivers in the outro jam. I will freshly cue up 5-4 in the near future. I'm not suggesting the body of the song can't compete...

I especially liked Barroco's doing Bobby Whitlock's "Keep on Growing"...B# just wailing.

Truth be told I bailed this year due to the inevitable inclement weather, being shut out of vip, and I’ve been there before. When the age of senility is rapidly advancing sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. To the brave that are there…I’ll see you on the run. To John A….Comes a Time 5/4/77, yes 5 days earlier, is in running…but it was my first show so,biased.

Jeff did his level best to make this Stella one for the record books. Simply stunning glad you muddled through the constant rain. Probably felt like you were on a lobster boat during a raging Nor’easter - with one hell of a soundtrack that is. Looks like a few hours at least of respite from the perpetual soaking. Dry out a bit, stay warm, and have a kickass Saturday ⚡️

Night one was brutal conditions on the ground, but we survived and very happy it wasn’t raining when I woke up. great show!

That show has a solid claim for the greatest Stella Blue. And that's a weighty statement. At the very least, it's irresponsible to declare another Stella the GOAT better before listening to Lexington. It's akin to Comes A Time 5/9/77 Buffalo. You can't proclaim a different preference for the GOAT without discussing Buffalo.

Nugs will be live-streaming Jubilee all weekend (starting mid/late afternoon each day). Not even remotely close to the magic of being there, but I’ll get lost in the music anyway 😎 https://2nu.gs/3PeHpTJ

I think popularity increase is due to all of the above. Shame if the intimacy of this fest suffers…hope not. Will be there Anybody remember seeing DSO @ the summer camp late night red barn.
