I talked to a buddy who was at the show. Apparently it was in a super cool little amphitheater and the W & M guy who put it on was ridiculously conservative is ticket sales. Maybe the most elbow room you'll find at a DSO show these days!

That Dark Star is not only wonderful but I think it's particularly unique (yeah, all Dark Star's are unique but I stand by that statement). Jerry's voice is a bit fried, but no matter. Anyone unfamiliar should cue it up ASAP!

26/10/26 Miami Arena, Miami, FL Set 1: Foolish Heart; Little Red Rooster; Stagger Lee; Me And My Uncle → Big River; Brown Eyed Women; Victim Or The Crime → Don't Ease Me In Set 2: Estimated Prophet → Blow Away; Dark Star → drums → space → The Wheel → All Along The Watchtower → Stella Blue → Not Fade Away Encore: And We Bid You Goodnight The bus tangled with a semi on I-95 just north of Jacksonville, leaving us with no side window and a rear panel smashed in to the point that the spare tire would not fit in the rear wheelwell. After a few hours of glass removal and banging on metal, a visit to a hardware store for a piece a plexiglass, we limped into Miami. This show made all the tribulations worth it. The Dark Star just killed. Consumed the show from the eighth row on the aisle Jerry's side, he saw a lot of me that year. It was 37 years ago today. Praise DSO.

Oh yes! The countdown is certainly on. So, I have an hour drive to work every day, therefore it's 2 hours of Live GD each day during the work week. I must say that when each song spins, I envision myself barefoot on the beach dancing with a Mai Tai in hand witnessing DSO crank it out. Every one that comes on. It's a beautiful thing and makes the damn drive WAY better! 👍 So it's 83 days from today when...... I'LL GET UP AND FLY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ☺️ Mark

I wish my team would put the ball in play instead of striking out 15x a game, be game aware, and support their pitcher with button up defense. Go Brewers. Go Rays. Go Guardians. Dodgers, not so much. Praise DSO.

Blossom might have tipped the scales. As it is now ~ 20 cds for under $200 is $10/cd which is reasonable. Adding Cuyahoga would have put it over a threshold that might have reduced consumption. My hope would be a Video from the Vault. That was one where it didn't rain!
-
Yeah, what about Blossom? That's a curious omission.
-
LA>SLO. Not much travel for five shows. Just saying. Praise DSO.

Waking up with D/S from Saratoga and coffee. Cheated yesterday and did 85/07/01 Merriweather for the bike ride. How about Dancin, Duprees to open? Is that any good? Second set S>F, Playin'>Uncle's--chunky. Improved sound quality, everyone in nice balance and the performance itself first rate. Boy did we get spoiled in MD/DC. Praise DSO.

The golden child left out? Through the years 6/24 has been my go to along with Hershey. Guess 3 Comes A Times would be too many? Or maybe a part two with Alpine and Blossom?

You have inched ahead of me, I wrapped the Greeks yesterday. Looking forward to SPAC, had a cassette of set two back in the day. Praise DSO.
