Killer show last night, really enjoyed the Sugaree and Bird Song during the first set. Short first set at 6 songs and 55 minutes, but hearing that the band was playing really well left us with high hopes for a monstrous second set. The second set did not disappoint in the monstrous department, all the way through. Fat grooves on Shakedown and Women are Smarter, powerful Terrapin, Rob pummeling the theater's structural integrity with the low beam frequencies during drums, GDTRFB had all hands on deck and moving along. The setlist seemed familiar, and by the time Watchtower came I knew I had listened to this show a good bit, and had a good idea of what show it was, my first time guessing one correctly. The Dew was tremendous, and the Good Lovin sandwich let us all shake it out once more. Knockin on Heavens Door to bring us all back in for a soft landing, only to blow the doors out again with a juicy China-> Rider to remind us all, once again, who the reigning champions of the Grateful Dead music are.
