Awesome setlist, awesome venue, DSO doing JGB was a nice treat. Each song was jammed out pretty hard. So many highlights. Mission was flawless. They said Rob E. had to get off his feet for a bad sciatica. If DSO decides to come back and headline this festival again (2 nights) it's a no brainer. My first time there and it was pretty pretty good. If you look up chill in the dictionary there should be a picture of this place. Huge wooded area for camping. A creek/stream ran right through the properly, people were in the creek the whole time on inflatables jamming to the music, many hammocks abound, the preferred thing to do was catch a nap at some point during the day. Music on Friday 2:30p-4:00a and music on Sat. from noon-4:00a. They also had early bird shows Thurs night. Just impressed with the vibe, the bands, everything. Didn't see one security guard or cop all weekend, soo many vendors selling food, cloths, and pretty much anything you can think of. The best part about it was it's BYOB. As much as I like paying $22 a beer at places like the Peach festival for One beer, this is a breath of fresh air. Place was literally out in the middle of nowhere. Back roads for a while, just fields, mountains, and rivers then the venue. There's something about a DSO show that is smack dab in the middle of mother nature. I saw how DSO just threw a stage up out in Jackson Hole and rocked out on the edge of a mountain. This kinda had the same vibe even though we were down in a valley. Kudos to the band for making it an awesome weekend.
My first Bears too, and I was blown away. This festival is all chill, no worries, and lots of naps. We had a blast, and we'll be back. We hope Rob Eaton is OK, but OMG, we had a wonderful time. Plenty of smiles and lots of great folks.

We are very much looking forward to getting back to the Jubilee!

We're looking forward to the Jubilee, but it's definitely been fun to watch the Skull and Roses festival this weekend. Might have to build in a trip out west next spring...

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! Gobble Gobble!

The Ignore option is wonderful. While I don't wish ill on anyone, sometimes it's better to just listen to the waves....

But they are extremist. Can you imagine having these types of conversations a few years ago? I've voted republican many times, but now I'll never cast another republican vote. To blame democrats for the trials and tribulations of "fly over America" doesn't make any sense. Didn't you guys elect your own leaders? Didn't you have a chance to participate in democracy?
You blame the rest of the country for the fact that you guys live in bumfuck. That's it. Are we supposed to take care of you? I was born in bumfuck Tennessee. Do I live there now? No. Of course not. I live on the coast. I cannot believe that hard working Americans just blame others for their problems. Sound familiar? Sounds like ghetto reasoning.
This is America. You are responsible for your suffering. Sound familiar? Geez.

Well, at least there's a conversation. Most of the music we love was written during the build up and ultimate disaster of the Vietnam war. A failure of both parties. At the time, the United States achieved one of the most technical and logistical challenges in history by landing a few people on the moon, and returned them safely to Earth.
If you think the Trump "experiment" was good for this country, I disagree. We've never been more at odds - with violence and mayhem at every corner. COVID may have actually saved the nation by isolating each other, and forcing us to have a semi "mandatory" cool down period.
But, no, joking that you're going to Texas to sell coat hangers is a vile and awful thing to say, even as a joke. I'm assuming you are single. If not, you should be. Perhaps that's why you are so bitter.
The founders called us an "imperfect union". True that. However, when calls to violence lead to the storming of our Capitol to disrupt our democracy, we're one step away from a massacre. Then, will you be there to mop up the carnage? Nah. You'll be buying coat hangers to mock women who were raped. Sad.

The Dead campaigned for Barack Obama and they ultimately played his inauguration ball. I have photos if you need proof. Republicans have, over the past few years, become openly fascist and violent. Now they are calling for civil war. They are also openly starting a war on women's reproductive rights and freedoms. The Roe v. Wade arguments are clear. If you are a Dead Head you have no business leaning into republican doctrine. The republican party, as it is, is a cult. If you still believe that Donald Trump somehow needs your support, then please, the Nickleback support groups will welcome you, maybe.

If that's the case why did you reply to Mojo Hand?
Also, it's spelled panties. Unless yours own you.

Personally.... I don't care which side you are on. I just generally prefer mature conversation.

Negative energy. yuck.
I agree. And, no, you aren't creating negative energy. Comesatime owns that.

We've decided not to attend the D&C shows that we fought tooth and nail to get tickets for. AND, they certainly weren't cheap. It's beyond frustrating, and we're really having a hard time unloading out tickets. We're blowing off Bristow, Philly and Hershey - mainly pits. The way this virus is exploding, and the way people are refusing vaccines makes us uncomfortable to go. I don't want to ever be in a situation where I'm paranoid at a show. It takes all of the free wheeling fun out of it.
We felt incredibly blessed to catch DSO at Peach. It was great to feel alive again. What a lot of fleeting matters we have spurned.
