nastero Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 What a hot, hot shot. the lazy lightnin' -> supplication was an otherworldly funk jam that lit the room on fire and really set the pace for a tight, high energy 2nd set. The whole show was really quite spectacular that the DSO gang undoubtedly has much for which they can be proud. It's just a shame they don't get out to Cali more often. I've been seeing these guys since way back in the late 90's when they would come up to Milwaukee and their maturation as a group and the intimate knowledge they have of one another's musical skill/tendencies has grown in leaps and bounds over the spanning years. They have moved beyond being just The Great Feaux Dead and have stepped lightly into the shoes of those they honor with their nightly sessions.
