I used to be a narcissist. But now look at me. Ok . a bar joke: An Englishman, a Scot and a Irishman walk into a pub to have a beer. Pretty soon a fly swoops down and lands in the Englishman’s beer, so he pushes away his mug and orders another. A few minutes later a fly swoops down and lands in the Scot’s beer, the Scot reaches into his mug and picks out the fly and continues drinking his beer. A few moments later another fly swoops down and lands in the Irishman’s beer ,the Irishman reaches in his mug picks up the fly and starts slapping the fly on the back yelling spit it out ya bastard, spit it out!!

Going to see Widespread Panic first show of 3-nite run in Durham, NC. Last time I saw them boys was 1998 I think - so I suspect much has changed. The person who got me the ticket has seeing them for 25 years and still can't get enough. Give me the 411 on Panic. Anyone? Their fans are a hoot although after this video, you may have another word

Had a blast last night and Melvin + Co brought the goods! With an opening local act, we only got one set and no encore Here's what I remember although I feel like I'm missing a couple: Merl’s Song What A Wonderful World Tough Mama It’s No Use Let The Good Times Roll That’s What Love Will Make You Do Cumberland Blues Ruben & Cherise > Eyes Of The World > Sisters & Brothers Deal Sore and Foggy - in a good way? I guess.
-
JGB Tonight - Will be good to see Melvin while we still can. Looking forward to boogieing on down - it's always much-needed.

Energy was really good - I’d go if I wuz you 😃

Yes - couple times. Cosmic Charlie has been playing really well over the last year or so. I caught this show a couple weeks ago and it was straight fire - really good time. Yeah - that was a little rough although Jerry would have a good swing south and a refreshing summer and fall. The silver lining of the cancelled show the night before was I randomly met Bobby + Phil (only time) and one epic party at the Holiday Inn - crazy times!
-
Man - life is indeed cruel at times. Just flat out sinister even..... I have to remind myself that I'm not owed anything for trying to be a good person. There is a tendency to think there's some kind of moral equivalence that if you do something nice for someone that they should do the same for you. It's stupid to think that way and it's your fault if you get upset because someone doesn't respond in-kind. Be yourself - do what you feel is right - and that's it - you'll be free.
