Very good quality! The Clementine, New Potato, and Spanish Jam are flat-out AMAZING!!! http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1968/1/20/clementine Enjoy!
  12. Over/Under on when we hear what’s been goin on? I’m goin 3 days although I was contemplating no comments until it’s over-and-done... Digging-out from 9-10 inches of snow in a place where schools close due to flurries. Think I’d rather be in Runaway Bay ...

Playboy after dark! Killer Mountains http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1969/1/18/mountains-of-the-moon A little uneven in spots but the 2nd set is fun! http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1978/1/18/mississippi-half-step Solid - 2nd set is quite good http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1979/1/18-1/i-need-a-miracle

Don't think I've ever played this show before - till this morning! The Dancin is gold as is the NFA (despite not being an NFA fan)! The dancin is super-funky and clocks-in at a cool 25mins. This includes about an 8-min back and forth between Jerry and Billy which is pretty neat! Jerry is feelin 'IT' during NFA http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1979/01/12-1/dancing-in-the-street Happy Weekend Dorkstars!

  20. Wow Dr. B! The Lovelight dream was realized. Cosmic Chuck on the other hand never came to fruition despite an emphatic plea from the legion of Heads. Jerry did have designs on making it happen on 2/27/94 though: http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1994/2/27/cosmic-charlie-tease As brutal as pulling the plug was (you can actually hear the audible groan in Aud sources), my guess it would have been poorly executed - the wharf rat sure was. Still - It's great when you can be there to witness a waypoint in Grateful Dead history!

I want someone to have a listen to the TLMD here and the lauded MSG version and see how it stacks up http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/9/18-9/to-lay-me-down The solo inside of Knockin (yes, knockin) is pretty damn awesome. http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/14/knockin-on-heavens-door Somebody give this shit a listen and see if I'm going gaga or it's just another show. 12/14 was even panned by some - no bleeping way.

http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/14/tuning (Use the Charlie Miller SBD) 12/14/90 - Everyone thought this was the weakest of the 3 nite run. Setlist suggested it and there are a couple valleys but this was still solid gold. Everything is speeded up - and I don't mean the source TLMD - compare this to MSG 1990 http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/14-1/to-lay-me-down Let It Grow - fast fingers and bombs http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/14-1/let-it-grow Foolish Heart - Sick Midi http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/14-1/foolish-heart He’s Gone - It's almost too fast - lol! Check out the post-jam - Unbelievable! http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/14/hes-gone Women-R-Smarter - There’s only one - it’s that good. http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/14/man-smart-woman-smarter This 3-show run was the best post-Brent I would ever see. It just all came together after a pretty tough stretch. My brother + I still wish each other happy 12/12, 12/13 + 12/14 every year. 27 and counting...

the 2nd nite of the legendary 1990 McNichols run was no slouch despite the bomb from the nite before: http://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/12/13-3/tuning Good Jack Straw to kick it off and a beautiful Ramble On (check out the soaring MIDI). Great H>S>F a turbo Eyes, Other One > Dew with a rare Box closer. Of all these gems - check out the Saint of Circumstance. We still miss The Sailor but this thing absolutely cooks. Give it a spin ⚡️
