Hey little one, I see you liked this post š

2/25/66 Ivar theater is a better recording than any 80/81 show.

So 3/4 of the salt of the earth gang will reunite in MD. Hoping for at least 1 night the whole gang will be back together.

This really sucks. If it could have just been last month weād have done all 3. This place is like 10 minutes from my brothers house ugh. If itās cold will be nice to have your car to chill in during set breaks too. Hopefully a vaccine can be rolled out to the general public by next summer. No music for 6 months in winter seems suck. Curious if any bands will play indoors this winter with several states eliminating capacity restrictions. If some band played in a box venue for 1500 people, how many shows would it take until the whole band got Covid. The gf and I caught the flu on 2 separate New Years runs and itās not as contagious as this. We popped a lot of Tylenol and saw the shows but likely infected many. This is the perfect opportunity to ban talking during shows. No screaming. Clapping only. We did do 2 shows in a crowd having to wear masks the whole 4 hours and it really wasnāt an issue at all. But we could go dance anywhere we wanted so was an ok compromise

I actually didnāt realize this was the 4th time Dso played honky Tonk women. Would like to hear Dso bust out canāt you hear me knocking if they are pulling from dead spin offs. Bust out moonlight mile again which gr8fulpair and I were lucky enough to catch the only time on that jerry band run in Birmingham. But then again shows are so few and far between and about to end with winter arriving. Dso needs a SoCal residence in January.

He didnt ābeat itā. Heās still sick. He got shit we canāt get for treatment and had to be hospitalized for the āfluā. And itās irrelevant whether 1 gets it or not. Itās a numbers game and unfortunately pretty much anyone with an infected person gets it unlike the flu. Seeing the whole debate prep team catch it makes indoor shows unlikely. The Turdās days are numbered in office thank god. He announced today if he wins he will pass a stimulus. Thatās why heās a turd. Itās about him and not all of the unemployed in event industries. Iām fucked. Today my biggest client announced their 7 conventions in 2021 are cancelled. I knew it was coming but hearing it on the news made it real. I was told 2 months ago the reality from them but the reality of 18 months without income from my cash cow set in. The Turd thinks downplaying it makes him stronger but only 1/3 of Americans are idiots luckily so we can get this POS out of office.

wow your 1st 69. They are always fun. There was a stretch in 17/18 that i caught 4 straight 69s. That was some crazy luck considering I only did 1/3 of the shows in that stretch. Awww pre Covid. Luckily we now know itās completely safe(besides a little hospital time and oxygen) if you have 13 doctors and meds not available to the public.

This is where my brother lives. Unfortunately we will be super pregos then and a 12 hour drive likely isnāt in the cards. Looks like you get out of your car show
-
the only person I remember is that chick with super high heeled shoes up front with the short jean shorts and the shirt tied in a knot and that 80s huge hair. She was cute though if not a bit out of place.

Better register with the state you are coming and provide a negative Covid test within 72 hours MC. little bit different than your 30th in Omaha. That was a fun couple shows.
-
arenāt those tests like $500+. vip should include an electric scooter to get around. It aināt vip with no š“

thereās varying degrees of your statement. There are the people who believe itās a hoax all the way to people who believe we shouldnāt leave our homes. We did a masked show in Indy where we danced with the masses. Thatās an acceptable compromise for me. Was cool weather and we got to groove with people. Weāve done the circle shows too. That was fun. Iām not into the drive in stuff. But I donāt mind wearing a mask if thatās what it takes.
-
its only up to a $1000 fine if you leave your hotel room if not from an eligible state.
-
Thereās 15 feet between you and the group yo either side. So at 19x23 plus 1x8 thatās 445 feet wide. So you want middle or very close. Definitely donāt want front row block 1 or 20 which is 220 feet left or right of middle stage. so it seals it. Iām not allowed to attend being from Kentucky. Is the band allowed to come up? Lol. They better start their 14 day quarantine
-
wow. I donāt see where the venue will verify the state you are from. Do you have a link? Total BS. 1st it was Hawaii who fucked us. Now they are trying to fuck is in the continental US.
-
Wow tickets are flying off the shelf. Early today the middle was wide open. Now middle 10 sections are sold for many rows. Only around 250 total spaces of 2 people so Tix are limited.
-
very and way the fuck away. If that was Columbus half the board would make the trip.
-
Real shows on a farm. My yesterday prediction came through way early. Tix on sale. I suggest you get row C spot 10. Thatās front of house. Looks like best spot. People took front row way to the side already. Get those center spots guys!!!! The presale code SOUTHFARMS2020 gogogo edit: each spot is 2 people so Iād get row c spots 9-11 for a group.

by next summer there will be large fields set up where bands can tour with circles like this. There wasnāt time to work this out this year but Iād guess buckeye lake will be having 2-3k person shows next year. That place is massive and they did 90k people shows in the day. the key is being able to link shows around the country. Bands have to tour to make money, not fly in for a show here and there. I would love to see Dso do a 1 week stand somewhere but not sure with that many shows in a row that they could pull enough average attendance for a place like buckeye. Plus it would suck to have to drive back to Columbus nightly with the way the state troopers love to harass festival goers there.
-
Did anyone tally up estimated cars at the show? With that big of a lot I bet they could fit a good size crowd.
-
late nigh scooter ride around Lucas oil stadium
-
and we are now electric scooter people. I was told electric bikes are even better. Next Iāll be buying a Tesla running out of juice on a rural interstate and the troopers tell me they donāt like my kind of car and I end up crushed with it in a rural salvage yard never to be seen again, and all from scooters. Late night buzzed scooter riding is fun. Just make sure you look for curbs.

So glad you guys got to see music. Try to get in everything you can before winter as itās going to be a long one.......

DSO Drive-In Ooooo-Eeee @ Roseland - Canadaigua, NY
Rude replied to Tea's topic in Tour Information Hub
Saw an Instagram of the New York setup today. PAās!!! Looks like Ellie will be filling in on bass or at least thatās how I took it. -
that was a super fun time!!! They push the envelope and a few times they came back together a beat off and laughed on stage but true improvising leads to that and those guys get lost in the music. Iād say they are between true dead and JRAD style but closer to dead, but make the songs their own style. Us midwesterners are lucky to have them play so much this summer. Ive seen many tributes and they are by far my favorite who arenāt a national tribute and really good guys too. Was surprised how many were there. Prob 500+. You will get to meet PG and hubby this weekend indy too. Gr8tfulpair had to back out or heād have been there too. edit: this was the 1st time weād hung out since 2014 cincy Dso show. Was a blast
