Especially interesting there was really no “space” segment, as with the original GD show. The band went directly into The Wheel out of drums. And Shakedown had a spacey little post-jam before they kicked back into Playin. (Again, like the original show)

2-17-2026 (Keith and Donna’s last show), Oakland Coliseum Arena You surely know this setlist. Greatest Story Ever Told, Don't Ease Me In, Mama Tried, Mexicali Blues, Friend Of The Devil, Passenger, High Time, Looks Like Rain, Jack A Roe, Lazy Lightning-> Supplication Might As Well, I Need A Miracle-> Bertha-> Good Lovin', From The Heart Of Me, Big Railroad Blues, Terrapin Station-> Playin' In The Band-> Drums-> The Wheel-> Shakedown Street-> Playin' In The Band-> Sugar Magnolia, E: One More Saturday Night First set plenty solid, but second set was the meat. A high-energy dance party! and one more night to go!

Yes it had the feel of a weekend show. Explosive! -
Original recipe with 80s instrumentation set one: Let the Good Times Roll Alabama Getaway Brother Esau Tom Thumb’s Blues Ramble on Rose Easy Wind Wang Dang Doodle I’ll Be with Thee Beat It On Down the Line Big Boss Man Ruben & Cherise set 2: Foolish Heart Masters of War New Speedway Boogie Midnight Hour>Jam* drums/space Gimme Some Lovin All Along the Watchtower Black Peter Tangled Up in Blue encore: Doncha Do It *Corrina Tease Pretty sure this is accurate but I’m open to corrections. This was one high octane elective set! Jam out of Midnight Hour was super melty, top flight improvisation. Drums/Space? Downright volcanic. Masters of War, Lisa brought the house down. Surprisingly light on Bobby content - I guess Eaton’s saving his voice for Oakland. see you there?

yep. Strongest part of this show for me was post-drums. looking forward to Monterey tonight

It doesn’t, but DSO like to play to the very limit of their curfew!
-
Dang, and I went home after Monterey! D’oh!
-
nice footage! I’m sure we’ll see some clips from Ted in a day or three. He was definitely there shooting
-
Finally some room to dance! Every venue I’ve hit this run a has been super crowded. This was the most casual show of the five I caught, but also the most definitely FAMILY crowd vibe. Stir it Up, dedicated to Aston “familyman” Barrett was a real treat. Warm and heartfelt.

Ted’s a good dude.

also you might find some footage on YouTube. TedToob channel is a good place for find Bay Area shows online.

Slim chance of an AUD recording appearing on archive. If you can wait a couple years Eaton might put it up on Nugs…

Only opened a GD show four times!

DSO are absolutely my #1 band to see live, but I’m damn glad they still play smaller venues. And I can’t imagine being irked about Billy Strings’ success. The kid has a crack band with its own improvisational style, plays tremendously well, sings with great emotive force, and writes fantastic original songs. If he could dance, he’d be bigger than Taylor Swift! He has his own thing and the cover versions are just the icing on the cake music is a collaboration, not a competition. DSO tour hard but they can’t hit every town every year. And we need young talent for “this music” to continue.

Stunning show from my favorite of GD eras. I didn’t realize just how TINY the Guild Theater is. Seemed like they oversold it last night - either that or fans took advantage of their hand stamp policy. Gott Dang hippies!

2/23/74, show was a doozy! Started just after 7 and ran shortly past 11, pretty late for sleepy Menlo Park. Both sets packed with gems, band continued in top form. Set 1: Around And Around, Dire Wolf, Me And Bobby McGee, Sugaree, Mexicali Blues, Here Comes Sunshine, Beat It On Down The Line, Ship Of Fools, Jack Straw, Deal, Promised Land > Bertha > Greatest Story Ever Told Set 2: Row Jimmy, Weather Report Suite Prelude > Weather Report Suite Part 1 > Let It Grow > Stella Blue, Big River, Ramble On Rose, Me And My Uncle, He's Gone > Truckin' > Drums > The Other One > Eyes Of The World, One More Saturday Night Encore: Casey Jones, Johnny B. Goode > And We Bid You Good Night Casey jones played as set closer, not in encore

they definitely did the Playin jam between BMR and Miracle. It was great - as was the post-Miracle jam into drums. My first time at The Sound - it’s well named. Extremely hi-Fi acoustics. Still has a sterile feel as a brand new place. The pit area is enormous, with no clear aisles, so it’s a bit of a mess, though the crowd wasn’t uncomfortably dense, just huge and disorganized. I’ll have to explore the balcony next time. Definitely a welcome addition to San Diego’s thin selection of venues. We needed one this size.

Agreed on so many points. The sound in the Wiltern was far from as crisp as it was at The Sound in Del Mar. packed house in LA had definite D&C spillover and heady big city vibes compared to laid back San Diego. both shows sold out, arguably oversold. We had to bail from the Wiltern pit due to extreme squeezing - it just wasn’t fun getting pressed up against that much flesh. Found some empty seats up top. Lovely view but people were shorter when they built those seat. Jeff’s extremely animated this tour. Pushing things to the brink again and again. we’re skipping SLO but looking forward to some winter heat in NorCal

Filler: Mr Charlie Shape I’m In White Rabbit excellent show with quirky setlist - Skip was loud as heck on the Irwin/Modulus. Jeff was in great spirits and just tearing it up. highlights: LLR(!), birdsong, playin jam >Miracle > jam into drums, Comes a Time
