I once again resumed twirling, running around in circles, pounding the ground with my feet, and just generally setting my body up for feeling completely hobbled the next morning. It was a lot of fun 😃
This made me Smile!! 😎 I always get something in my eyes during SMBH Great read, thx.

Elective:
Set 1: Playing In The Band > Eyes Of The World > The Music Never Stopped ; Passenger ; Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues ; Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain
Set 2: Help On The Way > Slipknot! > Bird Song > Saint Of Circumstance > Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower > drums > space > Sugar Magnolia > Uncle John's Band > Sunshine Daydream
Encore: Brokedown Palace > Playing In The Band repriseSide topic: Did anyone in attendance happen to see the Neighbor banner being flown by a plane around 6:00? A local fan ponied up for that, which I thought was extremely cool of him. I heard their show was high energy, as usual.
Apologies for the hijack! 😊

Neighbor. We actually traded Sat tix for Friday as we had a conflict (should have gone to both...). They're a side project of Richard James from Pink Talking Fish. All original w/ a couple covers sometimes. Don't sleep on these guys at Peach. Hopefully, they get a nighttime spot...

The Grateful Dead played at the old Boston Garden more than any other band (24 appearances between '73-'94). They were supposed to be the last band to play there prior to it's closing in 1995. In fact, according to Wiki, they were supposed to be the final event there on 9/19/95.
As it turns out, the final event there was an exhibition game between the Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadians on 9/26/95. My GF (now wife) and I were in attendance, and got to witness the lowering of the Banners and retired numbers. We have some great pics somewhere! When it was half demolished, I drove by on RT 93 South and took a pic from the highway of the gaping barn! Man, do I miss that place!

I caught The Garcia Project (plays JGB) last Thursday down in Portland and wow that's the best post-Jerry JGB music I think I've heard...they played 9/18/76 and was full of beauty. (Mango--Did you catch the double header in southern Oregon over the weekend? I'd be curious your opinion of these guys..) Or anyone else caught these cats?
I would put in a few miles to catch them again and there aren't many bands other than dso that get me willing to travel a bit to catch...
We saw Garcia Project Saturday night at Cape Cod Community College and wow, what fun that was. Took a bit for the dancin' to begin, but once Mystery Train began, we flooded the floor! Let Me Roll It was stretched out and worth the price of admission alone. Was torn between this and staying home to watch hockey. Sooo glad I went. Was home to catch 2nd OT only to see B's lose.
They recreated 7/30/77, and threw in Lonesome and a Long Way From Home to close!!
Set 1
- Let It Rock
- Stop That Train
- Mystery Train
- Knockin' On Heaven's Door
- They Love Each Other
- I Second That Emotion
Set 2
- The Way You Do The Things You Do
- Let Me Roll It
- Simple Twist Of Fate
- Harder They Come
- Gomorrah
- Tore Up Over You
- Tangled Up In Blue
Encore

Thx Tea! I have a Samsung TV; does that mean I can watch? No streaming services (yet).
