If it was a deadco sucks, you’d have gotten a thumbs up but panic is a solid jam band with a talented tight cast of musicians. Not a fan of their newer stuff as much but they put on a good show for a good value and give a person like myself that has zero music coming to me some extra music to see within a 5 hour drive. I like panic more than phish as panic is more of a dance groove. Plus panic was my 1st jam band I ever saw so they always have a place in my heart
Thanks for the feedback. I am totally not a panic fan, I’ve seen them several times (I live in the southeast) and they just don’t do it for me. I love phish and I love the dead and I love dso too. I’ve seen dead and Co a few times and it’s always weird to hear Mayer sing Jerry tunes, although he plays a mean guitar and no one can argue with otiel’s talent.
While GD50 was wierd, I thought trey brought a unique aspect, as he and page did with Phil and friends in ‘98 (that was a great show).
i could go on, but again I thank you for your friendly banter and I’d like you to remember Frank Zappa rules all.

Oh, a gang bang.
Wow man, that’s pretty rude.
Ron? I don’t know if this qualifies as a threat, but it’s pretty obscene.
And im real sorry my brother, I thought DSO tribe was good with the other sects of dead fam and phish fam.
Ive personally seen DSO over 40 times (I only saw Jerry 9 times), and I enjoy dso and their crowd. Kinda glad I’ve never encountered you specifically though.

I think it is what 1950s boys did by giving a girl a pin off letterman jacket to show the school they were steadys.
Yeah, but we take the gender dynamics and individual relationship out of it. It’s more of a commitment to a whole larger family.

Don't know who you think is "privileged" Started seeing the Dead in ' 94 what's that make you - about 30+, I'd quit being a kid a long time by 30.
No one from here is going to other boards "spreading venom" and yet people from other boards come here to spread their venom. I/we are just tired of it.
There’s no venom here, brother. I seriously thought pinning was an older tradition and just wanted to be accepted.

Just to be clear we all have opinions and are welcome to them. That said Anyone using threatening language or making threats will be gone. That is a promise not a threat!
Thank you Ron. I just don’t understand the older head “privilege” over kids like myself who started seeing the dead in ‘94.
Also so I don’t understand the phish hatred on here. I’d imagine most people spreading their anti-phish venom have never Even seen the boys.

Define Touch Head, please.
I think he’s saying people who started liking tGD when touch of gray came out . Let me first say I was just old enough to see my first show in ‘94 and I’ve been a head ever since.
HAVE YOU EVEN BEEN PINNED?
Getting pinned is a BIG deal, and its a huge thing. If its done right, its planned in advance and its a huge surpise to the kid in question.
My pinning was a huge deal, and happened the night after 10k after everyone left and our kids got permission to stay on the land for a few days and clean up before we left for yellowstone and glacier during the off days between 10k and seattle. Camp was kicking, a few off our kids where in the kitchen getting dinner ready, some kids where getting the fire started, and me and dawn and few others where out on a groundscore mission. This was just after the sun went down, we where walking up to camp (camp goodness sponsered by cookies, that is!!!) when 7-8 of our kids are walking towards me with this distinct look on their face. Now, about my actual pinning... Catch me in the real world sometime, ill tell you over a bowl, but something like that is just to personal to discuss over the internet. Lets just say it was special. I will say this, after i got pinned, dawn gives me this huge kiss and is like "baby you deserved that."
After i got pinned we all had a huge celebration. It was a special time. We had a huge family dinner, and after dinner a sheet was put in a bottle of orange juice and everyone was ceremonially dropped by the Rev.- 1

No, that comment wasn’t directed towards you, it was to wharf rat for his comment and probably wasn’t a nice thing of me to say.
