was checking out the website for the festival in scottsdale, AZ the band is playing at the very end of the upcoming tour....

was pretty impressed to read about this little fest... 100% of proceeds to go to local charities for children..... I like it. Seems like a great way to spend some money for some good music....and the place looks like a great setting....flat, grassy, and some mountains in the background.

The Festival took off in April of 2004 as an endeavor to bring real music back to Arizona while getting the community together for a great cause: our children. Each year, the festival brings together a number of bands from a wide variety of genres from all over the world to Arizona. The Festival takes place on April 13-15th, 2012.

If you have never been to a music festival, come to ours. Experience the spirit that is cultivated when people join together and have a good time. Bring your kids. Make some friends. There is a silent auction/raffle, marketplace, drum circle, acoustic stage, Kid’s Zone and more.

Be a part of helping to give back to the community – all proceeds, yes 100%, raised from the Festival are donated to two charities – Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Ear Candy.

CHARITIES

It is a great feeling leaning up against the edge of the stage, staring up at your favorite band and enjoying every minute of the performance, but it is an even greater feeling knowing that the proceeds from your ticket will be helping kids in our community! It truly is a gift that keeps on giving, and Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Ear Candy value the true music fans that support the Festival and its mission to inspire, connect and support the community.

PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Phoenix Children’s Hospital, ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals, is Arizona’s only licensed children’s hospital, providing world-class care in more than 40 pediatric specialties to children from throughout the state and region. Phoenix Children’s is in the midst of a major expansion to meet the needs of the Southwest’s rapid population growth. The signature element of the expansion is a new 11-story, 750,000-square-foot tower which will enable the hospital to grow from 465 licensed beds today to a total of 626 licensed beds at full build-out. The hospital’s expansion also includes an aggressive physician recruitment effort and new satellite centers in high growth areas of the Valley.
