I'm traveling in from Rochester for the Erie show and I currently booked the Avalon hotel because it's right nest to the theater. I'm not looking for the waldorf but for those of you that know the area, is this place too crappy to even spend the single night? I noticed it has just about the worst reviews I have ever seen for a hotel but we don't really care as long as it's relatively safe and not bug ridden! thanks happy trails mike 1 Quote Link to comment

While the reviews weren't stellar, I found it decent enough for a night's stay. As long as it's clean and safe, it should be fine for a short visit.
