I caught 3 Eaton-less shows this tour. Two of them were Elective sets with predominantly JGB material. Jeff was definitely stepping it up a notch! First song of tour - Let it Rock - Jeff was out front in the stage, really rambunctious. So fun to see! Love Jeff.

Fantastic! Actually guessed the show from the first note, as not too many shows start with Ramble On Rose. Love this OG dead show. DSO delivered big time. Tom did great!

Penn's Peak always delivers - great dance party. One more weekend before getting back to "life". Looking forward to Long Island- well, the shows at least

it wont be an Elective and they wont play New Speedway. Sorry. But....open to being proven wrong. I just tried to count my Penn's Peak shows....it's hard, my memory used to be better. I would say that i've been there at least 20x. Looking forward to the return tonight- may this be the best yet <3

Dope sauce. Great venue! Staff members dancing through smiling. Best crowd of tour yet. People were into the music! Gonna skip Williamsport…. Save my energy for the throw down at the peak. Thank you DSO band and crew! Y’all are the best. Say hi the new merch girl Megan- she’s rad.

1973-09-17 - Onondaga County War Memorial, Syracuse minus the horns. great show!

Elective set. Rob Eaton out sick. Jeff on Travis Bean, Skip on Fender Jazz Bass, Barraco mostly Piano with Organ on a few. Lisa on Harmonica here and there. AMAZING SHOW. Jeff was on fire and really animated. I’ll play: one of the great combos for me is scarlet >fire estimated >eyes. When you get both of those combos in the same show….well…yeah. Right Chuck? Not that rare. 38 shows. Not all of them are uninterrupted- sometimes there is a song or 2 between. But always in the 2nd set and ALWAYS scarlet >fire first.
