for some reason I thought of you this morning and I see your birthday was yesterday , happy belated ... you were one of a kind my man , glad I got to hang with you ... RIP ...
I'm going to be in the area next month and hoping to get lucky with a show there , doesn't matter who the band is , the atmosphere at the mish is party itself , but a surprise DSO show would be awesome.
Sorry to hear that chuck, and I understand, I got a couple things going on that are slowing me down also ... I'm going to be passing through your neighborhood in sept ,I'll give you a heads up when and see if we can get together for a bite to eat somewhere and hang for a little .
chuck , the like button no work , so I'll just say I LOVE your post and hope to see ya at one of those places that plays that music we like this summer ...
Some features aren't working ... the like button doesn't work ,,, and I can't turn pages on the on the topics , can only open up page 1 or go to last post ,,, might be a couple more things as well ... Ron , maybe it needs a restart ...
Did anyone go ??? ... I see some videos on youtube ,looks like a really good show ... that venue is amazing , I saw DSO there a few years back and it was a perfect setting for some old time hippie music and us.
my condolences to Rude's family and friends ( starheads ) ,,, I didn't know him, but it was easy to see that he was very important here on the forum and to the DSO community ... I would love to be able to hit like on most if not all the replies here , but it doesn't work , so I'll just say that the replies here show how much he was loved , they're beautiful and heartfelt ... RIP Rude
dead and co is so slow its painful , what I've seen anyway. Billy Strings is the real deal, I've been watching him for a few years now from my couch and I really like him.
been laying low for bit and spending time getting old lol ,,, and and suffering limits also such as work and no time for nothing but work for some reason , that needs to change ... the DSO schedule is not lining up for me either right now , just missing the Atlantic City show by a little , I'm driving cross country from cali to nj in sept and back , hoping something pops up along the way.
I want to see Billy Strings , but at a small venue ... I watched a couple videos of dead and co at the sphere and I'm not into it , venue and band to be honest.
I have to admit ,as much as I tried to just celebrate his amazing life and how he survived such medical issues that he had , listening to these songs on the day of his passing brought on the emotions ...
