Of all the shows I had tix for, DSO at the cave was the one that hurt the most having to miss. The cave i think now has an amphitheater outside and is doing some socially distanced outdoor shows where you do the 2-4-6 person pods. I’d love it that were a thing this spring

The numbers which are already spiking, are about to explode when college kids go home for the holidays. IU is basically telling them when they leave campus not to come back until mid January because they don’t want them bringing shit back to school. But they are closing campus basically ensuring that 50000 kids will be going somewhere even if not home to be around their elderly family members. Indiana as a state trying to shatter stupidity records.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on Pisgah shows. I just need something to hope for. If they happen I will be down there with Luke in tow. Sammy is starting last year of college that Monday I don’t think he has made Black mountain yet.

I’m keeping my eyes open for Pisgah too. Haven’t bought tickets because I’m already holding so many tickets for postponed shows that I don’t know the rescheduled dates for. May have to make the purchase and hope for the best. 😬🤞

I’m pretty sure I broke my yearly record of 10 a year this year Louisville Cincy on the river Egyptian room Black Mountain X2 Jubilee X3 and the Colorado three pack. Feels like I’m forgetting one the Boulder shows stand out but it may just be recency biased. Red rocks was bittersweet because even tho the show was unbelievable, I had had so much fun out there I was already depressed about having to come back home the next day. I see why so many heads live out there. If it weren’t for the boys I’d transplant my ass out there tomorrow

I did NYE with Hyryder @ the mousetrap in Indy. Good stuff. All plans fell through but I had to find some live music to go see. More and more shows are going 21+ NYE and I usually take the boys. I’d love to do Colorado run again. I’d like to make a week out of it and bring the boys and camp our way cross country. See some stuff. We’ve always wanted to see Rushmore and Crazy Horse. But for this imaginary trip to happen the dates would have to be before school starts for either. And the youngest starts end of July. So this is more likely a pipe dream for later

They have RV passes and a special area and those spots probably will sell out prior to May
