Romantic Balladier. Does that make your stomach turn? Maybe no. This wasn’t Easy Cheese. I had good fun on Friday. Firstly, the Knight Tbeater also known as the Belk Theater is acoustically outstanding and a great 2,000 capacity theater designed in mid century style in downtown Charlotte, My video sound is crisp and has depth. I went along trusting my friend’s good judgement to see Chris Isaak. Now I am familiar with “Wicked Game ” but believe it or not, never seen that sultry video filmed on Kawai and knew that his music associated with David Lynch. So I have to say that , man that guy can croon, has a funny sense of humor, and commands a falsetto that would turn a cannoli inside out. He covered Elvis, Roy Orbison and .Phil Phillips. FYI The musicians were just ok. And..... people got up to dance. So weird...

Wow. Have you ever tried growing quinoa? Just curious. I heard it is very drought tolerant. Quinoa could one day help solve the world hunger problem. Read an article about San Fran company that looks at weather trends and predicts with amazing accuracy the best time to plant. The guy used to be a stock broker and used same modalities to help farmers. . Familiar with milpa? The three sisters? Corn beans squash. Symbiotic plants. There are tracks of land in Mexico that have been repetitively farmed for 4,000 years without depletion of the soil. Captain Jim’s Dead bug did the trick for my tomatoes. Very cool as it is made from a bacteria found only in some abandoned Caribbean warehouse. Weird science, for sure. I had these cute little orange nymphs on my zinnias that jumped to lunch on my tomatoes. I captured and drowned them in soapy water. Catching the mature Stinkbugs was a trick though. The compost we used yielded great results- 6 1/2 ft tall tomato plants!!! A company picks up our food scraps and we can request at no charge compost whenever for $22/ mth. I know now that is nothing compared to what you do - just my journey.

Organic gardening is intensive and a labor of love. Just count on losing 2 out of 10 veggies.

I know, right ??? My gf recounted last night while on tour her night severely went terrible on Victim. Everyone’s demeanor changed and lurkers emerged. And then the song careening into Drums Space was no relief. To run to the bathroom would have been a safer place for rizzle,

Haha. Gosh- i left that show early... I hope it was just a good dream gone bad. Lost Sailor -> Victim was like having chocolate milk with creamed spinach. I think I was sleeping too hot.,.

I was having a fantastic dream last night but when the dream took a turn, I awoke abruptly. So in my dream, I was hanging with some friends on the front row just behind the “orchestra” seats. Sweet spot right ? We had all the space to hang and dance. The show opens with Bertha -> Don’t Ease Me in, Everybody’s dancing and having a blast. The music is sounding good. They start playing Lost Sailor and with all this room, I was loving the space to twirl and spin and pas deuce beurre. But then the band went into Victim or the Crime. That is when I stopped dreaming and abruptly awoke. I guess that scared me. 😂

I loved 7/18/89 Alpine the best of the three nights. My first China Doll had me in the dreamiest state hanging out under a clump of trees over on Phil’s side and loving the music. I stayed there until the monster Dear Mr Fantasy Hey Jude. Maybe my favorite song block ever at a show.

David Ball and Walter Hyatt of “Uncle Walt’s Band” were both from Spartanburg, SC. Lyle Lovett used to open for them. Lovett styled his hair after Walt’s doo and said sometimes when he played there was only one person in the audience, Walter Hyatt. There is today’s little ditty for ya.

I like taking long soak in the bathtub some days instead of a quick shower.

Everything is exactly as it should be and will grow accordingly.
