Forum MVP Masons Child Posted September 9, 2025 Forum MVP Report Posted September 9, 2025 Clapton Nashville that was powerful powerful stuff. The guys still got it. Still got chops power stage presence. However stiffest crowd I’ve seen at a live music performance I mean ever. This crowd was seated all the way no dancing. It was crazy. Cause the music was powerful and maybe it’s just me but powerful music flows through my heart and soul straight through my bones and body. It makes me move. 1 Quote
Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted September 10, 2025 Forum MVP Report Posted September 10, 2025 It's nice to be able to sit and enjoy a show when possible. As noted before in other reviews, there's plenty of dancing space in hallways. Quote
Moderator Tea Posted September 15, 2025 Moderator Report Posted September 15, 2025 9/13/2025 - Port City Jerry Day - GreenLake Amphitheatre, Wilmington, NC. Proceeds went to Wilmington United Way, 40K in contributions! The Possums opened (local GD cover band) - not bad. Then on came Hyryder.......total smokeshow! Jaws were dropping everywhere since many had never heard of them. They certainly know them now: Hell in a Bucket, Promised Land, My Brother Esau, Hard to Handle, Ramble on Rose, I Need a Miracle > Cryptical Envelopment > The Other One > Cryptical Envelopment > Wharf Rat > Promontory Rider > Shakedown Street, Help on the Way > Slipknot! > Franklins Tower, Cream Puff War, Expressway to Your Heart, Chinatown Shuffle > One More Saturday Night Knocked that shit out the park⚡ 1 Quote
Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted September 15, 2025 Forum MVP Report Posted September 15, 2025 I believe they opened with Hell in a Bucket on Fri the 13th last year in Asheville with a second set St Stephen opener. Wilmington was just too far or me this year and last year's Asheville show was book ended with Emmylou before in Roanoke and after in Haiwassee Georgia. You all got dosed well. Promontory Ryder has been elusive this year compared to other years and out of a wharf rat looks like pure magic. Very happy for everyone who was able to join in the celebration!⚡🎶🛞🇱🇷 Quote

Been checking out his recent setlists and I can see where your coming from now. He's digging into the gems of his catalog, especially opening with White Rooms and Sunshine of Your Love in the opening songs. Much better song selections than previous years. Curious as to if he's gone back to the rocking Layla or still doing acoustic? Quote
Forum MVP Masons Child Posted September 24, 2025 Forum MVP Report Posted September 24, 2025 Layla was acoustic Quote

Nobody dancing. I had 10th row Center, amazing show! He played a small show for about 5000 recovering addicts. He came out on stage and in his British accent said "hello everybody I am an addict my name is Eric". Encore was Cocaine! The previous day at the San Jose Convention Center during the Jazz breakfast someone had walked up to him and asked for an autograph. I heard him say Sorry no, I'm just another recovering addict.. Very cool. Quote
Moderator Tea Posted February 13 Moderator Report Posted February 13 JRAD @ DPAC Durham, NC DSO will always be the tippiest of tops for me! That said- Blew that place to smithereens . Big time shredfest. Lucky to find a 75% dance pocket (fixed seating is for the birds) with some like-minded folks. That streamed on Nugs - watch it if you can! Crazy Rabbit hole jams all night - relentless. World Class Sound⚡️ 1 Quote
Forum MVP Masons Child Posted February 14 Forum MVP Report Posted February 14 I love you Tea glad you got some solid music. You need to get to DSO. And I need to see you April 27th Quote
Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted February 14 Forum MVP Report Posted February 14 A new friend last night was asking if I'd seen them? They got a solid no because we were in the fold of a trap ryde with tonight's show up next, just not taking any more applications esp with Hyryder about to drop a whole slew of upcoming dates. Ever since Rude got me into my first show, nothing has come close, $20 to be right at the stage with plenty of dance space makes me unapproachable for going to others. I'm glad there's the others for the masses. Nice looking setlist though, thx for the report! Quote
Forum MVP Masons Child Posted February 14 Forum MVP Report Posted February 14 Hyryder is great. Rude knew everyone was a notch below Dark Star. I miss the piss out of that guy. He’d be in for New Orleans. He was a big believer of the magic of Frenchman’s and jazz fest. Quote
Forum MVP 2muchfun Posted February 15 Forum MVP Report Posted February 15 With DSO being increasingly bicoastal, Hyryder (and Born Cross Eyed) has been feeding my GD jones. Looking forward to March and all of them. 1 Quote

Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted March 28 Forum MVP Report Posted March 28 Free Mexican Airforce starts with a funny story with something being rolled into a cone shape about the size of the NY Times with one end being shoved in his mouth and a red burning ember at the other end. He said "inhale, and I did inhale" Quote
