Moderator Tea Posted November 11, 2025 Author Moderator Report Posted November 11, 2025 Also - Happy 52nd Birthday to 73/11/11 https://archive.org/details/gd73-11-11.sbd.schlissel.14105.sbeok.shnf If I was forced to listen to only 10 GD shows for the rest of time, this one would be on that list⚡ Quote
Forum MVP Greg from Chestertown Posted November 12, 2025 Forum MVP Report Posted November 12, 2025 Those early pics are a trip but keep in mind, they’ve been looking out at us getting a touch of grey. 11/11/73 got checked out by me today. RIP Scott. Having a moment here. So many memories. I started on the Music Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey, had no idea what I was walking into, first heard about them a week earlier. They brought the Grateful Dead back to life for me. I’m thinking back to the acoustic shows they did to celebrate 1,000 shows, at the Birchmere in Arlington. They’ve always been hot as fuck. They played the electric factory until ten after two in the morning, back in the day. Yea, it’s been long and it’s been strange, but I’m still tripping. Quote
Moderator Tea Posted November 12, 2025 Author Moderator Report Posted November 12, 2025 GD live experience: 88-95 DSO live experience: 03-25 Crazy math right there - more than 3x Quote
Forum MVP 2muchfun Posted November 12, 2025 Forum MVP Report Posted November 12, 2025 Been fortunate enough to have seen all in the pictures. GD live from 77-95 DSO live from 99-25 Between 95 and that fateful day 1/22/99 was in the wilderness searching Rat Dog and more frequently Phil and Friends. Then at Headliners in Louisville, the third song…JK sung Loser and I was crying like a baby. DSO can still bring me to tears. So so so Grateful. Quote
Billy DeLyon Posted November 12, 2025 Report Posted November 12, 2025 Happy Birthday to the Greatest Band in the Land. Never stop doing what you're doing. There's no other band I'd rather see tuning up on stage. Official Countdown to the Peak is on...14 days! Quote
Forum MVP BillK522 Posted November 12, 2025 Forum MVP Report Posted November 12, 2025 Grateful. Praise DSO. Quote
