LA>SLO. Not much travel for five shows. Just saying. Praise DSO.

Waking up with D/S from Saratoga and coffee. Cheated yesterday and did 85/07/01 Merriweather for the bike ride. How about Dancin, Duprees to open? Is that any good? Second set S>F, Playin'>Uncle's--chunky. Improved sound quality, everyone in nice balance and the performance itself first rate. Boy did we get spoiled in MD/DC. Praise DSO.

Riverbend show officially released in the 30 Trips Around the Sun box set. The miss for me is Blossom, which I hope is being held back for later release. Praise DSO.

You have inched ahead of me, I wrapped the Greeks yesterday. Looking forward to SPAC, had a cassette of set two back in the day. Praise DSO.

Philly show on a Wednesday. Very work schedule friendly. Praise DSO.

Still riding the high of these shows a week later. Amazing music and people. Praise DSO.

The latest box set from the Dead. Seven shows from Summer Tour 1985 3 Greek, SPAC, Hershey, Merriweather x2. Was waiting for me when I got home from Burlington. Presently spinning 6/16. Mix and performance a little uneven at times, but feeds the wacky sounds and setlists of 1985. Wild Other One following the Cryptical break out. Neat packaging. Anyone else purchase? Thoughts? 93/09/13 The Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA Set 1: Hell In A Bucket ; Jack-a-Roe ; The Same Thing ; Stagger Lee ; Black Throated Wind ; Dire Wolf ; Let It Grow Set 2: Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain > Playing In The Band > Dark Star > Terrapin Station > drums > space > jam > Easy Answers > Days Between > Good Lovin' Encore: I Fought The Law One of the better later shows I attended. Thoughtful first set Jerry selections. Pre drums a Big Man showcase, despite a brief (5:33) Star. Tubular Bells hints during space. Strong Days with superb outro jam. Spent the show third row Jerry side, complete immersion. It was 33 years ago today. Praise DSO.

Upon further review, Dire Wolf after Tom Thumb. World To Give after Throwin' Stones. Praise DSO.

Looks right from my notes. Lisa killed Hurts Me Too. Till the Morning Comes excellent. Love that one on the playlist. See you in New Haven. Praise DSO
