So yeah a SWARM of bugs attacked the stage after Second That Emotion, I think. Some kind of beetle, June bug, I'm guessing? Never saw that at a show before. As everyone said: killer stuff tonight especially Tangled Up, That's What Love and Tore Up in my opinion. I mean, they ripped.
And yet another first timer here. Great place to have a fest. Highly recommended. Although I wish they hadn't crammed us all in that big open field in GA. We brought wood for a campfire but didn't use it due to the proximity of the nearby cars, canopies, tents, etc. However Michelle and Stevie came through with their fire ring by the stream so that worked out. As did the lady from Arizona whose car we jumped (never caught your name!). Well, we youtubed how to jump it lol. I'm still in shock that some new hybrids can jumpstart themselves (wish mine could). So many vendors. On site local ice cream. Very chill atmosphere. Oh, catch Organ Fairchild when you can. Those guys know what they're doing!
how did i miss you buddy?

BOSTON MUSIC HALL - NOVEMBER 14, 1978
The Wang is the old Boston Music Hall and you could feel the bands pleasure playing this recreation from the very same room it was originally played. Absolutely stunning theatre. I couldn’t have asked DSO for a better local return. Boston shows at the Wilbur were fun, but the venues don’t compare. The Wilbur is tight and crowded, discriminates on deadheads, and lacks the space and sound we crave. I’d love to see them play the Wang again in the future. Missed my forum friends but there was an epic dance party in the red carpeted hallway at the top of balcony. Passenger, Estimated Eyes, ship of fools, wharf rat, and GDTRFB personal highlights. GDTRFB was just silly good… so much fun. Got my first “piece of my heart tonight”. I am “on call” which starting at 11pm so I was sober for this show… pretty sure first ever. I danced more than I ever have AND saved money! Everything about this night was perfect, including not running into my ex who first brought me to shows (lol) and hanging out with my cat now as I rest my bones. ❤️❤️❤️Sugaree

I'm guessing this dance party was in part to many of the Dead and Co kids who just stopped by to say, well, well, well....Many were on the DSO European tour...they know how to get down and don't talk... Glad you had a great time!!!

If anyone has a desire to attend Jam in the Sand, a friend and her husband can no longer go due to a freak accident he had.. They absolutely need to get what they paid for due to hospital / surgery financial concerns..this is a wonderful trip and I know how grateful they would be to have someone go in their place....please pass the word!! Thanks and God Bless...

Hi,
I'm really sorry for what's happened in Italy (and for Indie Campers too), I hope what happened hasn't completely ruined your opinion of Italy. We have a crime problem, and unfortunately Rome is one of the cities with that problem. I'm really sorry, see you next time.
loved Rome!!! I just won't rent a van again...in fact, after it happened the guy told me I shouldnt have gone into the city....

Hi all,
I'm a newbie here and I've created this account to say thank you to all the kind souls I saw and talked in Milan last friday. I'm an italian deadhead and, as you can imagine, we don't have many gig here. It was a breath of fresh air, something that maybe you can't even understand, but believe me it was wonderful. Hope to see the band live in Europe again soon and I would like to know from you what do you think of Italy, the location or any other thing. I'm just curious.
Have a nice day all!
Joe

I loved Italy, the people, the food...all of it....except for the person who broke into my Indie Camper and tried to steal the van in Rome...btw, NEVER RENT A VAN from INDIE Campers...they are charging my CC $2100.00 for the damage to the the ignition inside the van. They DO NOT offer an insurance plan to protect you from this kind of thing....INDIE CAMPERS is a portuguese company and pray on people from abroad....Sorry to rant but want everyone to know for future...
I did nothing wrong and am being penalized for this.. sad

This night was my favorite because of Scottie....my great friend. Having toured with his Uncle Todd back in the day with the GD and had seen numerous shows with his Dad as well, this was the cherry on top. I love him and his family and it made my year!
Most know that I go out swinging the first nights anyway and yes sir, a good night to do it. Thanks to DSO and all who made this 9th Jubilee one of the best yet!

Thanks To Steve Trickle for hosting us and the band/crew we all know so well!
Loser, Crazy Fingers, World to Give, Mission, China Doll, High Time, Midnight Moonlight with Allie, SCOTTY x 5 to include Scarlet > Fire... and SO much more!!!!! Holy Moly!
