It was a show that they played in Charlotte in '09. I had read strong reviews of this band in RS, but had never listened to them. I liked them. Anyone familiar? woodpile Posted November 25, 2010 Report Share Posted November 25, 2010 I just saw them at Pier Six in Baltimore last month,if you have a chance to hear them live you wont regret it.I've been listening to them for a couple of years now and IMO are some of the best song writers around.Their last album was produced by Rick Rubin,its good but I think it lost some of their raw sound in the production,I would definitely suggest picking up Emotionalism,and listen to the lyrics as well as the music. BigDad Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 My daughter has been into them since she first saw them live at a festival outside Atlanta a couple years ago. We share many musical tastes so she encouraged me to give their CDs a listen. Nothing they have recorded did much for me. Then I saw them live (the same Palladia video mentioned previously) and I "got it." These guys are a very entertaining live band - lots of energy and surprises in their show.
