Forum MVP 2muchfun Posted September 4, 2012 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 4, 2012 I am recovering from my outstanding experience at the jubilee at home in sw Indiana reading the Sunday paper and am reading a great article recounting this event on the 40th anniversary of this Labor Day weekend festival. Bull Island was the type of disaster that the awesome team DSO assembled averted. Most of the music planned for the Soda Pop Festival never materilzed! The nimble decision making and Herculean effort by crews and bands along with the positive attitude of "heads" which DSO attracts made the music even better.
