Heard many good things about this venue. You heard correctly! Penn's Peak rules! Amazing scenery, great parking lot scene, lax security (except they are pretty strict about smoking inside the venue - but you could go outside at anytime and smoke that OG on their gorgeous balcony overlooking the Pocono mountains, so its all good), and the acoustics are amazing! Probably best acoustics I've heard anywhere. And the inside of the venue is like a log cabin - gorgeous hardwoods, etc. So yea definitely try to make it if you can.
