  1. The year Rude had a boot on his foot up to his knee we got ADA at several shows that were shoulder to shoulder and we had like an acre of dance space in our roped off area.
  2. You’ll still find me on street corners preaching about 4/29/71 being the greatest performance the Dead ever did, which of course includes the best Hard to Handle ever performed. Tea has a rookies ear and really just doesn’t listen to enough GD to weigh in on this topic. Nice guy tho.
  3. I’m gonna say full on boner!!
  4. Made my day to see that!! Soak it up bro, you earned every minute.
  5. A woman stands nude in front of the mirror noticing all of her sags and wrinkles. “Honey, say something good about me to make me feel better about myself.” ”Well,” he says, “seems your vision is spot on!”
  6. I saw that tour at McNichols in Denver but Stevie Ray opened for Jeff Beck. I’m pretty sure it was 89. JB mistakenly invited Stevie out on stage for a little dueling guitars session at the end of his set. Uh Ohhhhh…
  7. Holy fucksticks that’s a 32 song BEAST!!!!! That’s some serious clogging dutchies!
  8. giddy up early dead!!!!!!
  9. love you bro, you’re the man!
  10. Hell yeah Scottie!! From the small stage in Park City to the big stage 9 months later! So happy he got that shot, I’m sure he killed it!
  11. Hey Doc, after you left there was a flurry of activity in the campground with people breaking down and packing up. I think your campground alarm clock was a positive thing for all but the locals maybe. Got me home before the Canes/Rangers game!! Thanks buddy, so great to see you back in the saddle!!

    Caverns #1

Tea called the TN Jed opener, but as an elective cause none of us could think of a show that opened with it. So right, then so wrong! 🤣😅 This show was a dancers dream. We had really good space in front of the soundboard. There were lots of people but they offered up whatever space our flailings required. Blissfully thought that first set would never end. Not many breaks throughout this show. I needed to find out how bad of shape I’d gotten in during the winter and this show gave me that information.
  13. in addition to the above, There was a Dont Let Go Tough Mama twist of fate box o rain hard to handle sisters and brothers Help us out BillK. He had about 10hr drive today, so prob won’t get that today. What a treat this show was. Hope everyone with the Covid is ok and sorry that had to happen to get this but the remaining members DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This band has solid JGB chops and they really seem to enjoy the departure. Super great weekend in TN with some dancers that inspire the shit outta me. Decent space in front of the soundboard, tho much tighter than Fri night. Love this community, love, love it!!
  14. I’ll be there, and I won’t tell you who’s ticket it was cause you’d be even more disappointed, haha.
  15. Got an extra for Caverns. A two day pass for 5/20,21. I paid $139. Make an offer, I’ll take what I can get. Will transfer digital ticket from Eventbrite. PM if interested.
  16. Happy 51st anniversary of the greatest show ever played by the Grateful Dead! 4-29-71, book it Dano!! ps: also the best hard to handle ever laid down by Jerry!!
  17. He’s got a raging case of integrity. Been suffering from it long as I’ve known him.
  18. Giddy up!!
  19. Daaaaaaamn, it’s an 8hr drive from Charleston to the Caverns, and we don’t have a tour driver for overnight passage!! Wtf.
  20. Yup, that gets the “holy fucksticks I hate I missed that one!!” moniker.
  21. Remember the last time Sunny left me in charge of his kid I let him eat a whole package of cookies. I mean the kid is still alive and I’ll be his hero for life. So, count on me.
  22. They have car camping at the venue this year. Giddy up, old times!
  23. What an absolute treat that night mustuv been!! Wont be many more chances to see Weir at the Warfield!
  24. hey, you can just shove that ignorant comment right up your ass buddy. I’ve seen you tear up to that song before!! Ohhh, you’re just trying to push my buttons,… that’s what it is, cause no way you say something that stupid otherwise.
