  1. Sending my love brother.
  2. I totally agree with Eaton. I think some of the feedback about the price is ridiculous. This isn’t for everyone but when the venue is only a quarter full, if that, of course ticket prices are going to be high. If you can’t afford, you don’t go. We all can’t wait for normalcy again and tours and lots of shows. I believe that day will come again. Hopefully by summer. Love it it happened sooner. This situation has been hard on lots of people financially. Musicians, their crews, venue crews, and venues themselves have been some of the hardest hit. I have friends who have lost their small businesses because of shut downs. Whitney has been in and out of work as a waitress during Covid. Shuts downs effecting restaurants and their employees big time. I just think it’s wrong for anyone to try to make these musicians feel that their in the wrong for trying to bring some people a music respecting the current restrictions from the government and charging a price of which they can make a small part of their living. I assure you no one getting rich off these 8 shows, except for maybe those receiving them. We may get rich with that magic and love that only the music of the GD can provide. Sure is a great group of players. I’m excited to be in for 3. I hope I pick up some more between now and then. I’m glad to help support these guys. They’ve done a lot for me.
  3. Billk grab us a table for Friday then I will have one each night. Haha
  4. I’m also posting while driving. We are in Thursday late night. Sunday early show. Still trying to work on other nights but sold quickly and expensive. But either way. Glad to have some music coming and this is a great group of musicians excited Looks like we are in for Saturday too. Not sure early or late but thanks to a good friend that comes round these parts.
  5. We got 3 inches early September in Bailey.
  6. He beat it. He’s 74. He did kind of show maybe we shouldn’t been so afraid. My friends would still have business. Jobs. We still have concerts. Some more people may have died. I’d say up to this point more likely than not but I bet we’d be past this shit. Remember flatten curve means the area underneath it stays the same. Same amount of deaths. Whitney lost her mind last night cause no one had masks on at the gas station. We can’t live in this fear. I want him out of office as the next but not cause of Covid. Not cause of the mask. And now Fauci who couldn’t help but snicker smirk when his president was sick with this deadly virus. I mean talk about utter lack of professionalism, disgusting. Moms got lung cancer good time for a whole bunch of I told ya so. He now says he could face relapse. I get it Trump been trying to downplay this but Fauci and the CDC are engaged in this biggest upplay ever. I mean they up selling this shit right down the creek.
  7. We like hyryder. They did a run of shows in Colorado over the July 4th weekend once.
  8. That set lists all over the place. Not sure how it would’ve flowed for me but plenty of tasty choices.
  9. Omaha was fun. Whitney was at that show. First time I laid eyes on her.
  10. I still can’t believe I stand alone as anti quarantine.
  11. DSO always seems to find away to play on my birthday. I think I’m in for these. Tough to turn down DSO for my birthday.
  12. Lisa on the 80s was weird. I feel I heard more back up Barraco vocals 2nd set but what do I know. The peanut was crushing it. Great to see Vic. Pres. 2muchfun. And several others
  13. We couldn’t get a sitter but Herd had a house party this past weekend. He still a donkey.
  14. I will be at the drive in. Hope outdoor Florida DSO December happens but not too hopeful. Sad thing is because we flattened the curve we probably looking beyond summer 2021 before we reach herd immunity. 2 summers no shows sounds so brutal. I pray a vaccine coming and works and gets distributed efficiently so we can have shows next summer.
  15. Is it ok for me to say I told ya so.
  16. I’m pretty sure Delilah has some new moves to show you guys.
  17. I know you was tough skinned enough to handle the banter. I want it bad too man. I miss you guys so much. That’s real. Just miss you guys. love is....
  18. Don’t worry buddy. We don’t expect you to eat grill cheese. The wine. The cheese. The crackers. And the caviar are coming. Be interesting to see how many miracles still happen when tickets cost 200 a person? I bet Ann Coulter makes it out.
  19. I want music bad. I want to dance and share my passion and joy as much as anyone alive I would argue. I have paid 3 times the amount to experience the joy. Sometimes the scalper won. BUT.... We can not make the arts and entertainment for the privileged, the elite. It’s the poor, the sick, and the downtrodden that need the spirit of this music the most. We must not make it so the guy that sells the pins and the patches or the t shirts or the grill cheese can never come inside. We can not do that.
  20. By the way, my comment about paying rent was tongue in cheek not serious. Maybe more seriously the schools should be giving me back some of my money. My kid goes to a charter school. They are not providing us service now. Additionally, I am accruing additional life expense for baby sitting now. The government or school should possibly pay for that too but no I was kidding about not paying my rent. I don’t ever totally agree with mango and the conspiracy nuts in this country but there is something else going on here. This is a democracy and our current socio political climate feels more authoritarian. This is America. Government should be able to make recommendations but closure of business and operations should be at the discretion of the business owners. That’s how our system works and is suppossed to work. I truly propose that we have a we not afraid of you coronavirus rally. Mango can bring his keyboard. We just got over 1000 people to gather so that we are breaking the mandates of the government. Banning large gatherings is unconstitutional and they can’t enforce that. If trump wants to site special powers in emergencies, I will remind him that we have certain special powers and certain inalienable rights including the right to defend those rights.
  21. Americans won’t accept the type of shutdown to make stop the spreading. It’s spreads one to one. One to many. It’s doesn’t take many to spread to one. I went to Chuck E. Cheese today for toph 7th bday. They closed early for no announced reason. Hope it wasn’t the virus but there was certainly 50 people there. A group of 50 can be just as dangerous as a group 1000 if one person has it. It passes one to one. i don’t know what the answer is. If I was sick or considered myself elderly, I definitely would be into self quarantine but coronavirus won’t kill me. I do worry about it in my household for sure. It would kill my mom. It might kill my baby girl. This shit is scary. We need to rush a vaccine to market some how but from what I’ve read 12 months is the minimum for it to be ready for market. I just worry the type or societal shut down to truly curb the spread of the virus would require things Americans just won’t swallow. I tend to side on the let’s go on with life as normal with a few extra precautions. Easy access to testing. If you are sick, please stay the fuck home and away from others. I’ve been washing my hands and using hand sanitizer much more regularly. Making my kids wash their hands much more regularly. I hope with summer festival season coming up we can find a solution to help these events go forward. Maybe on site testing. I’ve read about mobile testing sites. Ones were you test the people in their car. It sounds shitty by the way to be confined to the car waiting results but it takes 4 hours to get into Bonnaroo anyway. Any car with someone testing positive. Yes that has to eliminate the whole car is not allowed to enter. Those virus free can still go. I have to admit I know my desire for the show to go on is selfish.

  23. By the way I want to make it clear that I know that DSO didn’t have a choice. I’m not sure what their individual opinions are but I have to imagine if it was totally up to them we’d have some form of tour here.
  24. They must have tremendous evidence that those getting infected have been at large scale events. I will wait to see the results but I don’t think this stops the spread of anything. These people were getting sick at the airport, the grocery store, the bank. I’d love to interview all those infected and hear about the great games or concerts they been seeing. I couldn’t disagree more with the shutting down of society. But always I will eat crow if this has a major impact on the spread of this virus. I just don’t see there being any difference in 4 weeks. What then? Do we cancel the entire MLB season. What about football training camp? I’ve been reading about many new cases since the societal shut down. Feel bad for those that are members of large churches. They can’t even go to their place of worship to pray. Public school shut down puts tremendous pressure on dual income families which most families with 2 parents are. I shouldn’t have to pay rent or bills during society shut down but I assure you come the 1st and the 15th they still gonna want there’s.
  25. Sucks. We gonna have to cancel summer too. Nothing will be different in four weeks. It’s almost comical this response of ours. Do nothing. Then way overreact. I will cross my fingers for May but certainly not hold my breathe.
