  1. My third GD show Rochester NY 11/5/77

Large crowd gathered at gates to get in….there were like 30 doors all glass….and they opened 1.

Crowd pushed through…much broken glass…but luckily no serious injuries.

Take a step back part of setlist…still have untorn ticket.

  2. My last of 2021  “OMSN” touring. Caught 7 Fri-Sat shows this year in 6 states. Not quite my 20 show average but heading in right direction.
Enjoyed Fri night much more as venue was not sold to “Astroworld” density as Saturday.  Older head I danced next to Friday called 50 yr Felt Forum show and he nailed it! Met several people Saturday that came to show breaking their 2 yr Covid hermit lifestyle. Even with no vax or test required, I guess even cowering Floridians darkness has to give.
Talking to Cotter before show…he was shoe horned between bars as far back as you can get…could not see or hear the band?! WTF.

Found that in indoor venue the sound was better space a plenty but no visual of band…danced a lot there as it is more fun as Jerry would put it…”without seeing smashed human bodies”.

Have not made it to a Dewey show and since it has been compared to this venue…glad.

Smokestack highlight for me in the 71 fast paced set. DSO just never seems to disappoint. Neither do all my rowdy DSO buddies that were in attendance. Even got to chat with Grateful Dean from you tube.

Since NYE or west coast runs unlikely for me…C U spring 22!!!

What about all those cow babies being born from the vaccine and babies born with 4 heads and only 3 fingers. If you want to know what they won’t tell you follow Q. He’s the only one telling the facts. It’s how we found our Bill Gates is trafficking kids and we are all being microchipped. Yes we are already microchipped by iPhone but now they have our vitals at all times and are sending our thoughts to the NSA. Our words are irrelevant because thoughts don’t lie. They have them now. Lucky I didn’t get Pfizer that has the gen4 tracking chips. The boosters all have gen 5 so I won’t be getting that even though I did just do a firmware update as the chips were causing glitches in my head.  If you are ever tired after a good nights sleep, it’s because the chips are transmitting. If you have trouble sleeping it’s because the chips are creating their daily report. Q knew this and tried to warn us and most chose concerts over long term health concerns from the vaccine and now we have to take Borox baths to get them out of us and that’s pretty rough on the skin.

This is a weird response. Take a deep breath rabbi

    Agreed 15 yds for taunting

PG veracity not questioned but there is plenty of anecdotes on all sides supporting any position you want.

This so called vaccine does not prevent infection nor spread of it. Results are more like a therapeutic.

  6. First show for me at the Cap…how did I miss GD there?
Like at my first show at RR the venue competed for my attention.

Spent first set at rail taking in band dancing with Jeff and Barraco exceedingly energetic especially Rob on organ with a camera man almost on the bench with him.

Second set high up in balcony with great sound and perspective of graphics being projected onto venue walls and ceiling. Also cooler as ushers opened some doors which was definitely needed.

only complaint and have said it before is the pulling of set up Lisa mic just before they hit the stage. I guess I should be glad you can’t do same with drum kit or keys lest playing the guessing game before show would be fruitless exercise.

Expecting elective on real 11/13 tonight as well.

  7. 11/5/77 Rochester NY

My third GD show (5/4/77,  Englishtown)

Lost in Rochester….bad part of town…asked for directions to war memorial…”you mean where that sing along dance band is playin?”

    Bingo!

Still have entire tickets stub due to glass breaking gate crash caused by idiot venue processes…

    Still remember Weir gyrations….

But they are extremist.  Can you imagine having these types of conversations a few years ago?  I've voted republican many times, but now I'll never cast another republican vote.  To blame democrats for the trials and tribulations of "fly over America" doesn't make any sense.  Didn't you guys elect your own leaders?  Didn't you have a chance to participate in democracy?

You blame the rest of the country for the fact that you guys live in bumfuck.  That's it.  Are we supposed to take care of you?  I was born in bumfuck Tennessee.  Do I live there now?  No.  Of course not.  I live on the coast.  I cannot believe that hard working Americans just blame others for their problems.  Sound familiar?  Sounds like ghetto reasoning.

This is America.  You are responsible for your suffering.  Sound familiar?  Geez.

I was born and raised in NYC and got the hell out. I actually prefer living in bumfuck and visiting the city.  Yes we do elect our own leaders but they have been increasingly usurped by DC ( in violation of 10th amendment)

and are mandated (sound familiar) to administer laws and policies  the local population neither desire or voted for.

  9. I had Captain Kangaroo…Was able to enjoy Pee week’s Playhouse ( along with all his movies) with my daughter.

When I was sub teaching I would play the theme songs from the three to gauge high schoolers response:

    To Captain Kangaroo…..”where’s the color?”

    To Pee Wee….”that’s creepy”

To Barney….they stood up and sang in unison “I love you, you love me…”

obviously an entire generation raised by a purple dinosaur

Ha!, true. That’s the problem with this conversation. It’s cyclical, never ending and nothing gets accomplished. Politics as usual.
…I can’t figure out, it’s the end or the beginning….

Yep…like tic tac toe…ain’t no winner in this game

The recent political climate is quite mind blowing if you ask me. Trump is not a leader. Trump is not a politician. Trump is not a lawmaker. Trump is mentally ill. Trump needs attention to fill a void inside himself. He got into politics, ran for president to get attention. He behaved as president in a way that brought attention to himself. That is all that was accomplished. He has damn near half of the country swearing by him and he is just a broken individual that is just fucking around.
…. I could not caution all, but I still might warn a few. Don’t lend your hand to raise no flag atop no ship of fools.

Please describe current “ leader” equally objectively…certainly a politician, past racist, suffers mental incapacity, needs void of deceased family members filled, known to plagiarize, helps son sell art for more than Jerry’s guitars, half of the people voted for this old demented fool.

Cant talk to you without talking to me, we’re guilty of the same old things.
