Really fun and interesting show. song selection had us guessing at first but pretty quickly became apparent it was elective.
Loved dancin with the old time tighten up jam. Lisa was amazing on you aint man enough and masters of war. very happy to hear pride of cucamonga - had a feeling that was coming. and sing me back home was perfection - you could hear a pin drop.
looking forward to new haven.

Brought a friend who grew up across the street to the show. his first Grateful Dead type show of any form. total newbie.
he was a little apprehensive and I was nervous he wouldn't like it, but he loved it. it was great!

Amazing show esp 2nd set. Stella was phenominal, so soulful - Jeff's solo was one of the best ever played by anyone ever.

Wow. Mike Krzyzewski went to West Point. I think it's a stretch to say he hates this country.
You and I both love DSO.

Which guitar did Jeff play night #1?

Absolutely Tecumseh Valley. Jeff Mattson & Friends does an incredible cover.
My number one would be Oh Sweet Nuthin' by The Velvet Underground. Black Crowes has a great version on youtube. Reminds me of Dew and Stella how it builds.

Second night at a great outdoor venue in Litchfield County. Beautiful cool night, clear sky, huge moon over the stage. Much drier than night 1. Highlights for me were Sugaree, interesting Estimated>TOO>Eyes combo and a perfect If I Had the World To Give that Jeff nailed. (I looked it up - first of only 3 times played by the dead.) It was great!

Sat in the grid next to hardpan and his brother last nught. Rained the entire show (despite Rob E saying several times looks like the rain stopped). But SO worth it!!! Loved HCS opener. 2nd set was killer. Terrapin was full on. A few of us were predicting they'd come back post-space and close out with Let It Grow > Franklins to finish out the sandwich but I guess not. Maybe tonight? I'll be back there again.

I saw Rob and Dino. Is the video of the 2 other Q&As anywhere? FB, Youtube,... I didnt see it on the Fans.com site but maybe missed it.

Ill be at Wilbur and both Port Chester nights. Maybe Westbury.

I got an email from the Wilbur in Boston announcing a show Thu May 7. I didn't see Northeast spring 2020 tour dates announced yet. Anybody have a schedule? Maybe I missed it. Or it's coming out imminently and the Wilbur jumped the gun.

Eaton feeling under the weather so didn't sing (except a bit of chorus here and there). DIdnt even say "we're gonna take a short break, we'll be right back". Jeff did it for him.
Great great show!

Love the early style China Rider transitions where Eaton takes the lead, which is what he did here, followed by the 1974 style jam (forget what that's called) before settling into a high energy Rider.
Feelin Groovy jam. Great essay by someone who knows a lot! http://deadessays.blogspot.com/2010/01/deads-early-thematic-jams.html

How was the Foolish Heart because the one from Hampton Beach this summer was the best I've ever heard by any band?

Fun bouncy show the whole night.
Stella Blue was so sweet! Lisa crushed Sunrise followed by an appropriate audience chant of "Lisa, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa,...!"
