  1. Just a handful of days left!

I have always heard discussion Beatles vs the Stones. How many Stones tunes did the boys and Jerry play?

    * 5 *. by the GD but only 3 performed.

    Empty Heart 1966

    Satisfaction about 30 times

The Last Time- about 70 x

I'm Free rehearsed with Dylan in 1987 but never performed

    "Start Me UP"soundchecked  only1995

Let's Spend the Night Together JGB

    Moonlight Mile 1976

Wild Horses by Old and In the Way

"Get Off My Cloud"  and "Off the Hook" by Warlocks

the GD also performed 3 titles regularly that were hits for the Stones n the 60s.

The Last Time I heard a couple of times in the 80s/90s and it would send into a tailspin. I just knew it might be....I LOVE "Moonlight Mile".

  2. 53 minutes ago, Greg from Chestertown said:

I saw Bob Weir on acoustic and Rob Wasserman on stand up bass do Blackbird in their set, opening for Jerry Band in ‘89.
I was walking around singing that tune for a month straight after that. Quite an impression.

I saw their set at Merriweather Post 1989. It was lovely and indeed had staying power. Occasionally “Festival” with that deep rumbling bass pops in my head too!

  3. 💫One week to lift off!

  5. JGB has always been a light hearted playful repertoire of music. I feel no cares in the world and it all looks like love in this Jerry sphere.

For me the GD music takes on the light and the dark, like seers.  It feels like a Jedi fighting at times, wroughting the good into existence.  Can you tell I’ve been watching the Madalorian lol

i can’t wait to get on the bus. What the Untold destination looks like? I know  it will arrive wrapped in love   - and it will be a great dance to get there
