goganious Posted May 16, 2010 Report Share Posted May 16, 2010 So I just learned that a big screen adaptation of "On the Road" is officially set to begin taping in August. www.filmofilia.com/2010/05/08/kristen-stewart-on-the-road Apparently, Walter Salles (Motorcycle Diaries) will direct the movie. Some guy named Garrett Hedlund will play Dean/Neal, while some guy named Sam Riley will play Sal/Jack. Kristen Stewart from those horrible Twilight movies will play Dean/Neal's gal MaryLou. While I am excited at the propsect of how good this move COULD be (I really enjoyed 'Motorcycle Diaries"), I also find myself flinching at the idea of how TERRIBLE it could potentially be. I have seen many people who are obsessed with On The Road and they all think they have a friend that is Cassidy, these hip teens will go nuts for this movie. That said, I have faith...
