Niners at Eagles will be a rock fight - children should avert their eyes since every play will be like a car crash. I give Philly the edge but it ain't a big one - even with Brock Purdy at QB for SF. Philly by 4. Bengals at Chiefs should be a good one too. Mahomes should be a bit less mobile - a high-ankle sprain is usually a 3-4 week injury so even with a ton of rest and treatment, it's hard to see him at something more than 80%, best case. Joe Burrow is right there as one of the best 2 or 3 QB's in the NFL. If the strung-together O-Line can keep him clean (maybe a big IF), I think the Bengals will win by double-digits. I'm rooting for Mahomes to get that 2nd ring but also rooting for Burrow to cash it in and make the case that he's the best QB in the NFL and reward a city starving for a winner. Bengals by 6.

It must be tweener-distance for those guys. I liken it to pro golfers that can't hit a 60-yard wedge where they need to Those are my Divisional picks too...

Kicker missed 6 kicks all season. Since he also missed his last XP of the regular season, he actually missed (5) straight XP’s. Three of those shanks actually missed the netting entirely. Just wow. Get your popcorn ready - he'll prolly put 'em all down main street for the next game.

Hyryder is the real deal. DSO is my first love and will always be tops but them boys can 100% bring it. The last 6 months have been nothing short of amazing. The Skull & Roses nod is totally deserved!

Lawrence Overcomes 4 (count ‘em 4) 1st half INT’s and stuns the Chargers. Down 27-zip. Crazytown 🤪

Here's my Annual lovefest with the 1990 MicNichols, Denver, CO run! 12/12 + 12/13 get all the shine for the A-Mazing song selection but don't sleep on 12/14! 12/14 has got a few of *the best I ever saw Live* : To Lay Me Down, Foolish Heart, Women-R-Smarter, He's Gone, Knockin on Heavens Door https://archive.org/details/gd1990-12-14.sbd.miller.89127.sbeok.flac16 Other than TLMD, a weird list of <best I ever saw> but they were crafted sooo damned well. This whole run simply crackles with fierce energy from Jerry ⚡ 12/12 had me 5th row, smack dab in front of Jerry (Thanks, Ruby!). I'll Never, ever forget the time I had with my twin brother at these shows. Till we meet again on the other side, Keith ❤️ I'll always treasure the memory of this time together - it was the Best of times. https://archive.org/details/gd1990-12-12.sbd.miller.109289.flac16 https://archive.org/details/gd1990-12-13.sbd.miller.108981.flac16

I streamed most of that Hyryder 3rd set and it was indeed bonkers! Best I’ve heard them sound - Electric ⚡️ Woulda streamed the whole thing but I found a local dead cover band while visiting my mom in Ann Arbor! Wasn’t expecting too much but they brought IT! This place was tinsy-tiny - dance floor held about 30. Judging by my soreness after, it was a good time! Deadicated at The Rumpus Room, Chelsea, MI - 12/10/22 The Way You Do The Things You Do Waiting For A Miracle Dire Wolf Run Rudolph Run Whisky In The Jar Stop That Train Positively 4th Street Black Throated Wind Rubin And Cherise > Let It Snow Sugaree > Let It Snow Uncle John’s Band Mr. Charlie Doin That Rag > Till The Morning Comes Greatest Story Ever Told Cassidy Cats Down Under The Stars Eye’s Of The World > Drums > Space Mississippi Half Step > Going Down The Road E: Brown Eyed Women

Not in the cards for me. Gr8fulpair?

Mouth Agape 😶 U of M played great despite their strength being silenced in the first half. Shocked OSU was so poor with making their own adjustments. G-O B-L-U-E
-
Without a running game UofM is gonna have a long day. Too many 3rd and longs so far

I hope nobody is still betting on the NFL. I do way better making picks and then reversing 95% of them before 1st kick

It's nice that there's an opportunity for some other teams to have a crack at the playoff. Clemson has had a spot every year since 2016 and Alabama has been in all of them except for 2020. TV executives want the usual suspects and would not be down for a slate like: Georgia, Michigan, TCU, Oregon

Rude - Why are you not in someone’s front office being groomed for GM?
-
Time to get superstitious. If they won't smudge the locker room, then maybe it's time for the owner to erase the bad JuJu with a sacrifice. The offering? This haircut - just shave it all:

I streamed 2nd and 3rd sets. Show was fire 🔥! Crypty was very good - Terrapin Suite was excellent!

‘Grateful Dead Meet-Up at The Movies’ to Feature Copenhagen 1972 Tivoli Hall Performance https://jambands.com/news/2022/09/15/grateful-dead-meet-up-at-the-movies-to-feature-copenhagen-1972-tivoli-hall-performance/?utm_source=Relix+Daily&utm_campaign=9c8e7d1366-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2022_09_15_05_25&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_486e6e4b54-9c8e7d1366-29140159&mc_cid=9c8e7d1366&mc_eid=794e3472a3 Rhino Entertainment, in partnership with Trafalgar, will present the 2022 edition of Grateful Dead Meet-Up At The Movies in theaters worldwide on Nov. 1, with additional screenings across the U.S., Canada and select territories on Sat. Nov. 5. The forthcoming movie showcases one of the Grateful Dead’s most iconic shows, from their Europe ‘72 tour, at Tivoli Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark, on April 17, 1972. Grateful Dead Meet-Up captures the band’s ground-breaking concert broadcast event, which was the Dead’s initial major live concert broadcast and the first in Danish television history. The film has been fully restored, color corrected in high definition with audio mixed from the 16-track analog master tapes by Jeffery Norman and mastered by David Glasser. The movie presents viewers with approximately 90 minutes of Grateful Dead music as they run through classics like “Chinacat Sunflower,” “I Know You Rider,” “Big Railroad Blues,” “Truckin’,” and many more staples. Included are Jerry Garcia, Bobby Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Ron “Pigpen” McKernan, Donna Jean Godchaux and Keith Godchaux. Moreover, the film also captures the band’s first live performance of “He’s Gone.” Additional highlights include “Ramble on Rose,” “Jack Straw” and “One More Saturday Night.” The tour also serves as the final run for Pigpen, who passed away on March 8, 1973, making the group’s rendition of “Hurts Me Too” all the more powerful. “We are pleased to be partnering again with Rhino to bring the ‘Meet-Up’ to cinemas around the globe,” said Kymberli Frueh, SVP for Programming and Content Acquisitions for Trafalgar Releasing. “The last ‘Meet-Up’ was the first with an international footprint and was a rousing success. We look forward to many more years of bringing Dead Heads together in local cinemas, wherever they may be.” Tickets for the movies will be available on Sept. 23 at www.meetupatthemovies.com.

1988-07-29 - Leguna Seca Recreation Area This show gets the headlines for the China Cat > Crazy Fingers > I Know You Rider, more than understandable. BUT - The meat of this Playin in the Band is/was one of the very best since 1974 - IMHO, anyway. Give it a spin if you think that comment is hyperbole. Lastly, the sound is bleeping incredible! I’m not a true audiophile but I know it when I hear it
