  1. Sisters and Brothers to send us off.. didnt need the Donna part being 79, they play the songs but not like the era, still a hyryding show, start to finish. Opening with China Ryder took out the eighties possibilities, then the folllowing Cassidy, Ramble On Rose, Uncle> big river kept the possibilities open. Shskedown Street, Passenger were esp spectacular, space>wharf rat ⚡⚡🎃
  2. Justice for She Belongs St. Stephen, righteously played
  3. Born Cross Eyed @ Zanzabar in Louisville #1 Bertha, Mama Tried>Mexicali, Big RR, LL Rain, TJed, Queen Jane, BIODTL, Sisters and Brothers, Cassidy, Birdsong, Let it Grow. #2 Shakedown Street, Terrapin>Foolish>Throwin>Women>Sugar, Loose Lucy, I Shall Be Released. 8-11pm
  4. It's going to be good!
  5. Ive been going through 88 this week on the gulf, no deadbase, and was rolling through my head "when was the Shakedown" as I had done Minnesota through Rochester. Now I know it was at The Greek, thanks Bill. As far as Littlefeat goes, theyve been playing for years. This Waiting for Columbus is a sales gimmick. Period.
  6. Weird too because didn't the other two open the shows with Wang Dang Doodle? Hartford always seemed to get dosed good.
  7. its up on www.sugarmegs.org latest additions page
  8. Connection....no stone unturned, killer setlist. I heard the Sympathy was a highlight
  9. Frost 82
  10. Youre right theres more to it than the ticket cost, ridiculous to even bring up. I dont know if its open floor or rows of built in seats. The open space in Sept is hard to beat. Spoiled and trying to prepare for a rainy day. I think 6/24/85 was my white whale
  11. $17.50 in fees per ticket is too much, $35.00 per day X Fri and Sat = $70.00 in fees, what? (best left unsaid, sorry for my demise). I was initially concerned when there was no mention of costs ahead of time so I looked at other shows and figured it was going to be a $30.00+ ticket with fees. The ticket fee stopped a purchase from me. I'm getting spoiled around here with Eventbrite and Cincy tickets charging only $2.50 and $4.00 ticket fees. I know this has nothing to dew with the band.
  12. If you make it we'll have a table for you on the rail if its indoors, which can be quite the experience. I'm thinking of dressing in a covid vacc card going as "compliance", the costume card will be 6 ft big so as to keep social d in place
  13. Well folks we got down hard last night at the mousetrap. #1 Shakedown Street Used to love her Tenn Jed Same thing BEW Desolation Row BIG IRON Promised Land. #2 Viola Lee> Dear Mr Fantasy> Viola Lee Mtns of the moon Truckin>jamm> Spoonful> Other One> Standing on the moon> Sugar msgnolia Ssdd. E: Built to last> Big RR Its All Over Now, Baby Blue
  14. West LA the first night and Loser the second was killer. The Crazyfingers out of the gate let us know it was going to be a special show. Little did we know it was all heading towards the 6/24 recreation. Man, I was soooo happy right from the Alabama opener, 🤞🤞 and it happened, couldnt have been a better set of shows at a better venue. Just being able to say "set of shows" in Cincinnati is a treat. RL blows the madison and the taft theatre. Hands down the best venue in the area and the staff are KIND. It was really nice to meet, spend time with and dance with folks on the forum and also new cincy people, felt like family ❤🎶⚡
  15. They rose to the occasion amazingly, courageous to take on 6/24/85, it was laid out perfectly and couldnt be a better, friendlier venue to present this show, loved the open, free space through out the audience area
  16. Wow! I wish we could do this every weekend. Thanks to the band, the crew, and everyone who came in for this experiment, what a wonderful world
  17. Damn, I'm getting excited, its close now, with a chance of rain and low 50's predicted, either dress warm, layers or be prepared to be blown away indoors!
  18. Ran into LangeradoSoul at born cross eyed in Lexingtin last night, good times my friend. 9/17/21: #1 Feel Like A Stranger> Franklins Tower Mama Tried> Mexicali Blues Peggy O Hey pocky Way Lazy River Wang Dang Doodle Tennessee Jed Memphis Blues If I Had theWorld To Give Doin that rag Promised Land! #2 1/2 Step Scarlet Begonias> Fire On The Mountain Estimated Prophet> Eyes of the World Truckin>jam> China Doll 0 & 0 Loose Lucy. (I got a pen and paper about 5 songs in because where else will this monumental experiment be documented?) Soul searing China Doll, pin dropping silence, such a solemn existence at that moment⚡bring on the 24th!
  19. It really is a river front live ⚡🎶⚡, 9 days
  20. I think we may be close to a full moon this weekend also.
  21. If this is the end for the year, I think the band did the country right by playing Asheville for all the deadicated folks on the east coast, then Utah for the western folks and finishing off with a reasonably priced Cincinnati gig for midwesterners.
  22. Good crowd showing up for these shows!!! I think this is a good reason the band is playing Asheville on 8/27 and 8/28
  23. Bring em on, would be nice
  24. My second order of tickets, had the two show deal of $20.00/per night and came to exactly $50.00 with fees. the option wasn't offered when I ordered at 11am. Hope to see you there Brad! and everyone, plenty of space at my house for any out of towners that want to keep costs down and the celebration up! Seriously, come on down to cincytown! That last show at Annies (now Riverfront Live) was one for the ages with a beautiful second set scarlet>Fire with the sun setting on the river, by Sept. 24th we could be having another sunset experience, the stage is right next to the river and security has been totally hands off at all the Hyryder shows there recently.
  25. Yay! Tickets were only $30.45 with fees. Hyryder plays at the trap 9/3 and 9/4 at only $22.50 including fees per night, Born Cross Eyed 9/17 in Lexington for $15.00 no fees, LTGTR If anyone needs a place to stay, LMK, I've got you covered.
