Why not man? I wear my sunglasses at night so I can so i can...

Bobby def has had guests on this tour not sure about drummers but definitely guest singers maybe horns. Tom Hamilton sat in for some songs.

I think a major part of this problem is some kids and even adults don’t know how to approach dogs. My buddy frank dog almost bit Toph. I disciplined Toph not the dog. She was aggressively crowding his space and pushing him into corners. She ignored our warnings. Dog scared the shit of her. She lucky he missed.

Pompano is on. First 3 Florida.
-
I’ve forced alignment for a Florida 3 pack so I will survive and get by. Florida works great for us as Delilah grandma lives in Fort Myers and loves her little grand baby.
-
I was hoping to make that but didn’t align with my schedule

Saw them at Wanee. A friend grooved hard to the talking heads songs. They were decent late night band.

We got a great local dead bar/venues. Several own by some guys in Denver and they used to have one in boulder maybe still do. Beonkeys has different local dead music and smaller nationally touring dead bands regularly. The poster/memorabilia collection in beonkeys and Sanchos In unreal. Jgb playing there end of March unfortunately or fortunately however you look at it Dso is doing Florida and that’s where we will be.

Funny you say Indy has a solid dead scene. The crowd at the Egyptian always seems a little sparse. I wonder if we need to up promotion around town.
-
Been to the Stone Pony. Just did Dso at the outdoor stage there. Crazy rained off and on all day and cleared just for our show. Stone Pony Asbury Park was big for Bruce when he was up and coming.

Love the Band’s version of Atlantic City He also wrote blinded by the light. Chuck please don’t compare Bruce to Bob. Defend him all you want but Bruce Springstien will never be the songwriter or anywhere’s close to the level of songwriter that Dylan is in. Simply another class. I certainly wasnt tryin to rag on him. I don’t change the channel when his songs come on the radio. I usually sing along.
-
I’ve never liked Bruce much but I have heard he puts on well hell of concert. Plays for over 3 hours most nights. If you are fan, you get your monies worth. I do like the Sax on some of his songs.
-
Never seen them but they play Denver on my birthday. We are going to go.
-
Maybe we rock this the next night Chuck.

Get me a Mayer’s Mark shirt. I’ll wear it for irony sake. I don’t think anyone that knows me will be confused on where I stand. And Chuck you’re the one in one million. I’m blessed to have known you and none of your jaded ass comments on this forum change that feeling. One of the special few. Wise funny strange but a touch of class and respectfulness you don’t find much these days.
-
In Dewey Beach, I saw someone in that said t shirt. I didn’t think positively.

Depends on how they sounded and if they were doing 70 shows a year. If Jerry was alive, it would probably depend on him being in semi retirement by now. More on the phil train then the Bobby train. Would Bobby Tour with Mayer Mickey and Billy if Jerry and Phil decided to sit it out? I see more like 20 dead shows a year. 15 Jgb shows almost all California than 70 shows a year if Jerry was alive. Of course we all just guessing and speculating. Nobody knows. If jerry and the boys were rolling out 100 show a year, I wonder how big panic, cheese, and Phish followings would be.

I saw Marcus king play with As the crow Flies at wanee also with his own band. The kid is a force to be reckon with. I was impressed and most here know I’m not easily impressed.
-
I think Chuck offered up a band of his in the other thread. Cornmeal Of course that couldn’t be recent as Chuck is comfortably in a semi retirement
-
That’s okay. I don’t think much of their Beatles.
-
Probably easier to find someone with those VIP tickets not going to show on a ticket resale site than on the DSO forums. Wish you luck.
-
I think Rude post was sarcastic tongue in cheek. I rarely hear these guys talk about saving the world. More like finding the nearest strip joint.
-
I love you brother. Keep your head high. Walk with pride. We missed you and will see you soon. We got a Peter last night.

My point wasn’t the lack of passion present in platonic feelings or emotions but for me I am more passionate about my physical connections. More passion doesn’t mean the absence of passion elsewhere. It means more passion here. Like take the GD, I was already passionate about it. On the rail. Bobbing my head. My passion grew and connection steengthened when it became physical through dance. Now at times I am making love to the music. It’s romantic. It’s physical and it’s current state of passion increased with the physical. Take a long term friendship that blossoms into physical love. You were always passionate about that friend but the passion certainly increased with the romance.
-
I’m a big believer in platonic connection and the love we all spread and share but o fundamentally disagree with the end of that statement. For me, my most passionate and love intertwine with romance. I can not love you as passionately without romance. Not every connection is meant to be filled with such passion but to disregard the higher level passion associated with physical romantic love and denigrate it to the same passion associated with platonic love does not add up for me.
